A true showcase of versatility, Mex isn’t just an effective leader when it comes to training, implementation, and business strategy; he’s a marketing technology expert that can navigate R&D and product innovation with the best of the best. After Mex architected an API ecosystem that was meant to enhance business intelligence capabilities and boost performance, KaFe Rocks Group noticed a 29.7% increase in EBITA and a 43.7% reduction in time to market month-over-month.
From his time studying computer science at South East European University in 2007 to joining the Forbes Technology Council in 2022, Mex has seen marketing technology evolve. Now, he sees its impact on the customer experience, the employee experience, and the business experience, and seeks to drive marketing technology-centric change that enhances every person’s experience with a brand. Currently the CTO and Managing Director for Sigma World Group, Mex brings new technology to the AdTech and MarTech sides of the gaming industry.
When it comes to technology and marketing, Mex sees technology as so much more than an operational component or business enabler; “It’s the product itself. It’s the forefront of decision making and business growth.” he says. In an effort to ensure the technological tools on the market are effective and game-changing, Mex is creating one on his own. Called “DataFlair.Ai,” his innovation connects data points, aligns them in a contextual format, and helps businesses use data to make decisions.
Though data-driven decision-making tools are on the rise, many businesses are still struggling to find a tool that checks all their boxes. Working closely with acquisition-centric companies, Mex designed DataFlair.Ai to seamlessly comb through multiple data sources, clean all the data within the ecosystem, and bring the data together with meaningful, actionable insights. In action, this tool helps disrupt the business intelligence market by segmenting revenue funnels, offering predictive scenario testing, and increasing employee productivity.
Beyond harnessing the power of data, Mex hopes to transform the employee experience, too. He argues against the notion that engaged employees are productive employees and thinks that companies need to provide tools and technologies to help boost employee productivity without increasing the workload on their employees.
Throughout his career, he has been unafraid of change, obstacles, or setbacks. Tapping into that fearless forward momentum, Mex’s contributions to the tech world go far beyond MarTech and AdTech; he’s changing how businesses think about their relationship with data. The world is in a period of excessive data, and the key to moving forward is figuring out how to connect with the data around us, drive insights from it, and change the way we do work because of it.
