Apple Music Replay 2023 is out and if you have spent the last year listening to your favorite songs on the platform, you can now take a look at your top artists, songs, as well as your guilty pleasures! Here is everything you need to know about it, including how to check yours!

What is Apple Music Replay 2023?

Apple Music has just released a cool feature called Replay 2023. It’s like a personalized playlist of your favorite songs, artists, and albums from the whole year. This feature is available on the Apple Music website, and it’s out just before Spotify does its Wrapped thing.

Replay has been around since 2019, but last year, Apple made it more like Spotify Wrapped. The catch is it’s not as easy to share on social media, and you can’t see it directly in the Apple Music app. But don’t worry, your 2023 Replay playlist is still in the app.

Just like last year, Apple Music Replay shows you a fun summary of your top songs and artists, and how much time you spent listening to them. It also tracks if you hit certain goals, like listening to 1,000 songs.

Unlocking your musical journey on Apple Music is as simple as a few taps. Here’s a quick guide to unveil your personal soundtrack of the year:

  • Step 1: Open the Apple Music app on your device.
  • Step 2: Navigate to the “Listen Now” tab. It’s your go-to spot for all things music-related.
  • Step 3: Look for the ‘Replay’ option under the “Check Your Progress” section. Tap on it.
  • Step 4: Voila! You’re now seamlessly redirected to the Apple Music Replay website.
  • Step 5: Log in with your Apple ID as instructed.
  • Step 6: Your personalized Highlight Reel awaits! Enjoy the trip down musical memory lane.
  • Bonus Step: For a deeper dive into your musical stats, hit “Explore Your Dashboard.” Here, you’ll discover more detailed insights, such as the time spent listening to artists and your top-played songs.

What about Spotify Wrapped 2023?

While Apple Music users can enjoy their Replay anytime, Spotify users have to wait a bit longer for their Wrapped stats. Spotify Wrapped is a big deal on social media, with everyone sharing their music charts. While Spotify hasn’t officially spilled the beans on the exact release date, based on past years, it usually drops by the end of November. Keep an eye out in the Spotify app because, once it’s out, Wrapped 2023 will take center stage, ready to reveal your musical highlights for the year.

Spotify Wrapped has become a social media sensation, eagerly awaited by users across platforms. As the streaming giant continues to rule the music scene, its Wrapped feature remains a fan-favorite. The 2023 edition is already being teased, and users everywhere are gearing up for the big reveal of their streaming stats. You can also check Spotify Fanalytics!

Apple Music’s hits of 2023: Top 5 songs

Along with Replay, Apple Music has shared its top songs of the year. “Last Night” by Morgan Wallen took the lead, staying at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for 16 weeks. This song beat Harry Styles’ “As It Was” for the longest time at number one for a non-collaborative song.

Curious about the most listened-to songs this year? Here they are as per Independent:

  1. Morgan Wallen – “Last Night”
  2. Miley Cyrus – “Flowers”
  3. SZA – “Kill Bill”
  4. Drake and 21 Savage – “Rich Flex”
  5. SZA – “Snooze”

Get ready for more music updates as we head into the holiday season! Your Apple Music Replay 2023 is waiting to give you a musical flashback of the year.
