LoL enthusiasts, hold on to your keyboards! Riot Games is shaking up the League of Legends scene with LoL Season 2024. Brace yourself for an overhaul that promises to reshape the way you play. Riot Games dropped a gameplay teaser, giving us a glimpse of the upcoming changes. Let’s break down the key details for you.

LoL Season 2024 new map

The Summoner’s Rift is getting a makeover with terrain changes in every lane. Riot Games introduces new walls, brushes, and gank paths. The aim? Make things more symmetrical, leveling the playing field for both teams. Jungle safety gets a boost with a wide wall across from Baron and Drake pits. The mid lane gets more breathing room, and bot lane symmetry is in. It’s all about strategic balance, making each lane a unique battleground.

With terrain changes come adjustments to Drake spawns. Mountain and Ocean Drake areas see tweaks to walls and brushes for seamless integration with the new landscape. The Infernal Drake steals the spotlight with Infernal Cinders spawning around the map. Pick them up for adaptive stats and a speed boost. The twist? Champions drop half of their cinders on death, creating dynamic power-ups for others to snag. Riot Games is spicing up the game beyond terrain changes, keeping an eye on player feedback.

Riot Games introduces new faces to the Baron pit – the Voidgrubs. They replace the first Rift Herald, adding a new layer to the early game. Crush these critters, and your team gets the Hunger of the Void buff, boosting damage to structures. Stack the buff by taking down more Voidgrubs, and you get Voidmites to help you siege. Rift Herald is making a comeback too, now with a Voidgrub-inspired look.

Crush the Eye of the Herald, and you or an ally can jump on Shelly, steering her like a ride. Strategic charging into turrets and knocking enemy champions airborne adds a fresh twist. The Void influence doesn’t stop there; it’s spreading to Blue Sentinel, Red Brambleback, and Rift Scuttler, transforming them into Voidborn versions after Baron Nashor emerges. Get ready for buffs and unique abilities.
