Looking to spice up your gameplay in Modern Warfare 3’s Zombie mode? Forget the traditional techniques and consider the MW3 Zombies Toxic Damage, which is essentially gassing those undead enemies out with your personalized Toxic Damage arsenal.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through the ins and outs of achieving Toxic Weapon Kills for a unique and challenging twist on the MW3 Zombies experience.
What counts as MW3 Zombies toxic damage?
Utilizing Toxic Damage in MWZ involves more than meets the eye. This form of damage is dished out through the deployment of Experimental Gas and the acquisition of Brain Rot. While getting Brain Rot is a tougher nut to crack compared to unlocking Experimental Gas through the Armory Unlock, hitting level 25 is a prerequisite for accessing the Armory Unlock Daily Challenges.
Encountering Brain Rot and Cryo Freeze Ammo Mods in nearly every match became a regular occurrence for many players, thanks to completing Contracts and tackling Aether Nests and Strongholds (Infected and Mercenary). Don’t forget to thoroughly search crystallized crates after clearing Strongholds and inspect Reward Rifts for these Ammo Mods.
The Brain Rot Ammo Mod, along with other Ammo Mods, stays effective until the moment of exfil. Armed with this knowledge, completing camo challenges that demand Toxic Damage becomes a breeze by adopting the exfil method.
Unlocking MW3 Zombies toxic damage tools
To kick off your journey toward MW3 Zombies Toxic Damage kills for weapon camo challenges, ensure you’re geared up with the relevant weapon for the task. Before diving in, reach the necessary camo challenge level to kickstart your Toxic Damage kill farming. Now, you have two paths ahead: try your luck finding a Brain Rot Ammo Mod in Urzikstan or level up to 25, unlocking Armory Upgrades, and complete five Daily Challenges for a permanent Elemental Gas unlock.
Once you’ve achieved either method (Elemental Gas unlock or obtaining the Brain Rot Ammo Mod), you’re set to start racking up Toxic Weapon Kills. If you successfully exfil without deploying the Brain Rot Ammo Mod, you can craft it using the Acquisition Stash. Ensure your tactical slot in your loadout is equipped with either the Elemental Gas before deploying.
Once in the game, equip the Brain Rot Ammo Mod through Acquisition Stash crafting or find it in loot caches and Reward Rifts, or go with Elemental Gas. Note that the Brain Rot Ammo Mod won’t affect every zombie, but it has a chance of inflicting Brain Rot on a single zombie, turning them into a temporary ally in the fight. I’ve observed that a Brain Rot zombie can secure an average of three to five kills.
The Elemental Gas grenade deals Toxic Damage within its radius. However, it comes with a drawback – it inflicts minimal damage and has limited use in a single deployment. This means you’ll need to commit to multiple playthroughs to accumulate the necessary Toxic Damage for your camo challenge. Choose your strategy wisely and prepare for some intense undead encounters in the pursuit of Toxic Weapon Mastery.
Keep in mind that the Brain Rot Ammo Mod is a faster method for farming Toxic Damage kills, especially during exfil hordes. Keep an eye on the ‘Brain Rot Kill’ indicator for successful Toxic Damage Kills.
With this comprehensive guide, you’re ready to embark on a unique MW3 Zombies experience, mastering Toxic Weapon Kills and adding a new layer of challenge to your gameplay. So, gear up, deploy your Toxic Damage tools, and let the undead know there’s a new sheriff in town.
