Marvel’s Miss Minutes, the lovable AI program from the Loki series, has captured the hearts of fans worldwide. This adorable clock-faced character has become a sensation with her quirky charm and unique design. Miss Minutes has even made her way into the world of merchandise, from t-shirts to plush toys. But one question lingers: Has she ever graced the pages of a Marvel comic book?
Is Miss Minutes in the comics? Loki series had the community wonder
Many Marvel fans have been wondering whether Miss Minutes has found her way into the world of comic books. Unfortunately, the answer is no. While her image has appeared on variant covers and promotional material, Miss Minutes has yet to become a character in a Marvel comic book.
During a Marvel’s Avengers Assemble panel at New York Comic Con, editor-in-chief C.B. Cebulski responded to a fan’s question about Miss Minutes’ comic book future. He left fans with a tantalizing but cryptic reply: “I can’t say for sure. We’ve seen Darcy and Alligator Loki appear. Never say never. She’s been on the covers. Only time will tell…pun intended,” according to Pop Verse.
Who Is Miss Minutes?
She is an AI program with a charming Southern accent who assists the Time Variance Authority (TVA) in managing the multiverse. At first, she appears to be a friendly guide, helping TVA employees navigate the complexities of time manipulation.
As the show unfolds, we learn that Miss Minutes has a deeper role, including connections to He Who Remains and the TVA’s villainous variant, Kang the Conqueror. Her dual nature, serving both as a guide and a hidden ally, adds intrigue to her character.
In truth, Miss Minutes is entirely aware that she was created by He Who Remains, and this knowledge reveals her manipulative side. She attempts to offer Loki and Sylvie a deal through her creator, stalling her file searches for Renslayer and even selecting different files, possibly in an attempt to hinder her interference in He Who Remains’ plan.
While her cheerful and polite facade is her norm, she unmistakably exhibits a more condescending and twisted side when the Loki Variants refuse her offer. “Welcome to the Time Variance Authority. I’m Miss Minutes, and it’s my job to catch you up before you stand trial for your crimes,” says Miss Minutes in the series.
Miss Minutes’ popularity and merchandising
Miss Minutes quickly became a beloved character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Her unique design as an anthropomorphic clock, complete with a bow and glasses, made her stand out. Fans couldn’t get enough of her, and she became an iconic part of the Loki series.
Demand for Miss Minute’s merchandise soared, with her image appearing on various products, from clothing and mugs to her very own line of plush toys. Despite her massive presence in the MCU and Loki, one question remained unanswered: Would Miss Minutes ever make her comic book debut?
As of now, Miss Minutes remains absent from Marvel’s comic book pages. However, with the ever-expanding MCU and its surprises, there’s hope that she might eventually make her comic book debut. While it may require some patience, fans can look forward to more Miss Minutes adventures in the world of comics in the future.
