From Yesterday onwards, Discord’s Nitro members got a head start to explore Discord’s in-app store stocked with Discord avatar decorations.
These are up for grabs, allowing you to inject some classic pizzazz into your Discord profile.
What exactly are Discord avatar decorations?
Your Discord profile is your digital introduction to the world. It’s where you showcase your interests and how you present yourself to others in the vast Discord community. If you’ve ever added a snazzy avatar decoration to spice up your personal profile, you may have noticed that they tend to disappear after a while. But why should these expressive additions have an expiration date?
Discord has heard you loud and clear: now, when you collect any Discord avatar decorations, it stays with you for good.
When you purchase one of Discord avatar decorations from the shop, it becomes a permanent part of your collection. Use it whenever the mood strikes, for any occasion, and it will never leave your side.
As a special treat for Nitro members, three bonus avatar decorations are up for grabs as long as your membership remains active. These special additions add an extra touch of personality to your profile.
How to access the Discord avatar decorations shop
During this early access period, Nitro members have the privilege of browsing and making purchases in the shop. Don’t have Nitro? No worries! You can still explore the offerings, but purchases will be available to everyone once the shop opens its doors wide.
Navigate to User Settings > Profiles, and you’ll find a shiny new button that says “Go to Shop.” Click on it to visit the shop, where Nitro members can peruse the available profile customizations.
A diverse range of options
At present, the shop boasts an impressive selection of three unique Avatar Decoration collections:
- Fantasy: Embark on your server adventures with the perfect sword and shield ensemble.
- Anime: Express your inner senpai with Nervous or In-Love decorations.
- Breakfast: Showcase your morning meal choices with delightful donut, toast, or pancake adornments.
Preview and personalize
Once you’ve spotted the decoration that speaks to you, take it for a test drive and see how it complements your profile. If it strikes a chord, consider making it a permanent addition to your collection.
Putting on your new look
After your purchase, it’s time to showcase your new decoration! Head to User Settings > Profiles > Change Decoration. Choose your look for the day and hit Apply. It’s that simple.
Your selected customization will be visible on all your profiles throughout Discord, including any unique Server Profiles you’ve set up. Additionally, Discord avatar Decorations make their mark on your icon in text chat, making your presence felt in every conversation.

Apparently, this is just the beginning. Discord is hard at work designing even more captivating styles for you to choose from. Will it be delectable produce and snacks, or perhaps vials of potions with magical effects? Keep an eye on the shop for new arrivals and possible farewells to older styles.
