Bybit, the world’s third most visited cryptocurrency exchange, has partnered with the American University of Sharjah (AUS) to launch an inter-college hackathon aimed at fostering innovation in the field of Web3. The event, dubbed the ”CryptoAI BUILDER Challenge”, offers a total prize pool of AED 80,000 and will bring together students from various colleges and universities across the UAE.
During the hackathon, participants will be tasked with developing innovative solutions using artificial intelligence and blockchain technology. The challenges will focus on various areas such as gaming, security, and decentralized finance. Expert judges will shortlist the most promising proposals, and the finalists will have the opportunity to present their projects to a distinguished panel of judges.
The CryptoAI BUILDER Challenge is part of Bybit’s commitment to supporting the growth of Web3 and encouraging young talent to explore the potential of blockchain technology. The company believes that events like this are crucial in nurturing the ideas that will shape the future of financial technology.
Registration started today
Registration for the event began on September 29 and continues until October 8. Interested students can visit the official event website to sign up and secure their spot in this groundbreaking competition. From October 9-13, expert judges will shortlist the most promising proposals.
The culmination of the hackathon will take place from November 3 to 5 at AUS, where participants will have the opportunity to refine their projects and present their final prototypes to a distinguished panel of judges. Throughout the hackathon, a series of side workshops will also be organized, covering various topics related to artificial intelligence and its applications in the crypto industry, delivered by Bybit experts and industry thought leaders.
