“Sea of Stars” is a retro-styled role-playing video game developed by Sabotage Studio and released in 2023. It is available on various platforms, including Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The game is set in the same universe as Sabotage Studio’s previous title, “The Messenger” (2018).
In “Sea of Stars,” players assume control of two heroes named Valere and Zale. These characters harness the power of the sun and moon in their quest to confront an alchemist. Today, we will talk about the Sea of Stars data strip locations!
What are the Sea of Stars data strip locations?
So where are all these Sea of Stars data strip locations? There are four different locations that you need to visit before merging them, and below, you will find all the information you need. At the end of our guide, we will also show you what to do after you collect all four data strips.
Speedball Network Station
Our first stop on this data-rich adventure takes us to the Speedball Network Station, nestled on an island of its own. Immediately upon arriving in Seraï’s World, take a swift voyage northward from the whirlpool leading back to the Home World. In a chest to the left of the colossal speedball, the first Data Strip awaits your discovery.
Repine
Our next destination is Repine itself. As you approach the town’s entrance, turn your attention to the right. A Speedball Network Station marks the spot; beside it, an alleyway beckons you northward. Follow the path to its conclusion – passing beneath a bridge indicates you’re on the right track – and at the journey’s end, a chest cradles the second Data Strip.
Cerulean Reservoir
One of the four Sea of Stars Data Strip locations lies nestled in the serene confines of Cerulean Reservoir, a Fishing Lake mere steps to the east of Repine. Venture forth into the waters, reach the northern edge, and there you shall find the chest holding the coveted Data Strip.
Fleshmancer’s Lair
Our final destination takes us into the harrowing depths of the Fleshmancer’s Lair, the game’s ultimate dungeon challenge. Journey to the second area, the chamber filled with colossal eyeballs awaiting your guidance. Solve the intricate puzzle within, and towards the puzzle’s end, a chest concealed by stalagmites in the northeast corner shall yield the fourth Data Strip. To access it, deftly guide one of the eyeballs through the stalagmite maze.
What to do now?
With all four Data Strips now in your possession, the time has come to unveil their true purpose. Return to the comforting embrace of Seraï’s home in Repine, where a computer console on the left side of the room awaits your inspection. Should you have dutifully collected every Data Strip, Cedric, the mastermind behind this riddle, will seamlessly merge them into a powerful Cypher.
Carry this newfound Cypher to the weapon shop, and the locked door shall relent before your newfound prowess. Beyond this portal, a treasure trove awaits, harboring two chests of untold value. One conceals the essential Question Pack #9, a crucial tool in completing the quiz side quest. The other harbors a Cosmic Cape destined to grace Resh’an. A truly bountiful reward, if we may say so!
