In the Premier mode, matches will adopt an MR12 format, where each half consists of a maximum of 12 rounds, with teams aiming for a total of 13 rounds to secure victory. In the event of a 12-12 draw, a thrilling six-round overtime will be played to determine the winner.
Who qualifies for CS2 Premier Mode?

Skill group system
The familiar CS:GO rank system, with titles such as Global Elite and Master Guardian, will transition into CS2. However, expect some notable changes. For players not inclined towards Prime mode, the competitive system, where you choose the maps you wish to play, will still be an option.
In CS2, skill groups will be calculated on a map-by-map basis. Each map will have its unique skill group. For instance, if you excel at Mirage and achieve a high rank there, it will be specific to that map.
Consequently, a significant portion of the CS community believes that Prime will emerge as the primary matchmaking mode in CS2.
