Here is everything you need to know about Diablo 4 Rusted Key! If you weren’t trying to teleport out of the dungeon where you found the Rusted Key in Diablo 4, you would probably take it without giving it a second thought. The key is a goal for Belfry Zakara, and like other quest items, it is kept in your inventory’s “key items” category until it is required.
It’s a good idea to seek out all the Altars of Lilith if you’re rushing to get ready for Diablo 4’s first season so you can have those additional ability points to experiment with on your new character. Make sure you have completed the campaign and have thoroughly explored the whole map.
Having said that, if you enter the Belfry Zakara dungeon and are unsure of what to do with the Diablo 4 Rusted Key, read on for the information you require.
Diablo 4 Rusted Key: What to do about it?
Within the Belfry Zakara dungeon, an exceptional foe drops the Rusted Key. It’s one of the dungeon’s goals, as was already established, and you’ll need to loot this artifact to get past the closed door to the monster.
When you’ve destroyed the two Drowned Bells for the first objective, the Anchorbound Chaplain, the enemy who holds the key, will appear on the minimap as a skull once you’re close. As with all dungeons in Diablo 4, the layout changes each time you visit, so I can’t tell you exactly where you’ll find him. You can “use” the Rusted Key you find on the ground once it is beaten to open the door to the final monster.
This item’s confusion may stem from the fact that your character loses it if you try to teleport out of the dungeon while carrying it, which is something you’ll probably do if you need to empty your bags back in town.
Strangely, this seems to also occur once you’ve finished the dungeon and there is no use for the Rusted Key. However, whenever you return to the dungeon through the portal, you may pick it up again and continue.
It’s possible that a problem stops it from being automatically taken out of your luggage after usage. Don’t be alarmed if you hear the recognizable sound of stuff dropping after you teleport out of Belfry Zakara for the last time after defeating the monster; you no longer require the Rusted Key and it is okay to leave it on the dungeon floor.
Diablo 4 Rusted Key: Where is it?
After defeating the Anchorbound Chaplain in the Belfry Zakara Dungeon, you can obtain this Rusted Key Dungeon item. You must do a number of various tasks in this dungeon, which is situated in the Rotspill Delta region of Hawezar. The Belfry Zakara Rusted Key in Diablo 4 may be located and used in the following manner.
- Destroy the Drowned Bells.
- Travel to the Salt Scarred Marbles.
- Slay the Anchorbound Chaplain.
- Collect the Rusted Key.
- Use the Rusted Key to open the Locked Door.
- Defeat the Drowned Seahag.
When you get in the Salt Scarred Marbles, you won’t be able to discover the Rusted Key straight away, but once there, find and kill the Anchorbound Chaplain. The Rusted Key you seek should always be dropped by this mini-boss.
You can’t miss it because the name of the key is printed in vivid blue. If you got disoriented during the battle, keep circling the area until you find the key. Or, to prevent losing it, seize the key as soon as you vanquish the Anchorbound Chaplain.
You can enter the Dungeon deeper from there to unlock the Locked Door. The boss of the Drowned Seahag Dungeon is within. Sadly, it appears that some players are having trouble getting a Rusted Key from the Anchorbound Chaplain. It could only be necessary to restart the Dungeon and look for it again if you still can’t find it.
