For the most recent patch, titled Even Immortality Ends, the release date and timing for Honkai Star Rail 1.2 as well as information on the 1.2 Banner and Event have all been officially published.
We’re receiving the customary two Banner phases, new time-limited events, and a cram-packed update with new tales, places, Simulated Universe, and Forgotten Hall permanent content, in addition to the Honkai Star Rail 1 and the normal two Banner phases. Two banners showcasing a new 4-Star, two new 5-Star, and one new 4-Star character.
The precise release date for patch 1.2, the names of the new characters, and the timetable for the 1.2 Banners and Events are all included here.
Honkai Star Rail 1.2: Release time
On July 19, Honkai Star Rail 1.2 will be made available. It will be made available at 4 am (BST) and will follow the routine maintenance schedule. Due to time zone variations, version 1.2 actually debuts in the US on Tuesday, July 18, at 11 p.m.
The Honkai Star Rail 1.2 release time and date are as follows for other time zones:
- West Coast US: Tuesday 18th July, 8 pm (PDT)
- Central US: Tuesday 18th July, 10 pm (CDT)
- East Coast US: Tuesday 18th July, 11 pm (EDT)
- UK: Wednesday 19th July, 4 am (BST)
- Europe: Wednesday 19th July, 5 am (CEST)
- Japan: Wednesday 19th July, 12 pm (JST)
- Australia: Wednesday 19th July, 1 pm (AEST)
You could be able to play the 1.2 patches a little earlier or after the hours above because this is merely a rough estimate of how long the servers will be down, but based on HoYoverse’s track record, the times they offer are nearly always correct.
Honkai Star Rail 1.2: Pre-install
Pre-installing some of the 1.2 material on PCs and mobile devices now will save you time when the real patch becomes available.
To pre-install 1.2 material if you’re playing on a mobile device, click the ‘Pre-download Resources Package’ icon in the bottom-left corner of the login screen. Star Rail won’t be playable while these materials are downloading.
By upgrading the Star Rail Launcher, you may pre-install certain version 1.2 material if you play on a PC. A ‘Game Pre-Installation’ button will show up in the bottom right corner of the launcher after an update, to the left of the ‘Play’ button. To get the 1.2 materials, click this “Game Pre-Installation” button.
Honkai Star Rail 1.2: Banners
Blade, Kafka, and Luka are the three brand-new playable characters that make their appearance in version 1.2.
The new Wind attacker of The Destruction Path, 5-Star Blade, is showcased in his A Lost Soul Banner as the first phase of the 1.2 Banner schedule gets underway. Between Wednesday, July 19, and Wednesday, August 9, Blade’s Phase 1 Banner will be up.
The characters with 4-Star boosts on Blade’s Banner are:
- Arlan (Lightning, The Destruction)
- Natasha (Physical, The Abundance)
- Sushang (Physical, The Hunt)
The Nihility Path’s new Lightning attacker, 5-Star Kafka, is featured in her Nessun Norma Banner in Phase 2 of version 1.2. During Phase 2, Kafka’s Banner will also feature 4-Star Luka, a new Physical attacker from The Nihility route. The projected performance dates for Kafka’s Banner are Wednesday, August 9, through Tuesday, August 29.
The 4-Star characters with boosts on Kafka’s banner are:
- Luka (Physical, The Nihility)
- Sampo (Wind, The Nihility)
- Serval (Lightning, The Erudition)
All of the new 5-Star and 4-Star characters that you may Warp on in version 1.2 are, in brief:
- Blade (A Lost Soul Banner – Phase 1): New 5-Star Wind character of The Destruction path.
- Kafka (Nessun Norma Banner – Phase 2): New 5-Star Lightning character of The Nihility path.
- Luka (Nessun Norma Banner – Phase 2): New 4-Star Physical character of The Nihility path.
We’re getting two new 5-Star Light Cones in the Brilliant Fixation Banner in addition to these new characters. In Phase 1 of version 1.2, Blade’s iconic weapon, The Unreachable Side of The Destruction Path, will appear alongside his character Banner. The famous Patience Is All You Need of Kafka In Phase 2, the Nihility route will then follow her Banner.
Honkai Star Rail 1.2: Events
New stuff abounds in the Honkai Star Rail 1.2 update! Including:
- New Trailblaze Mission chapter.
- Simulated Universe World 7.
- Companion Missions for Kafka and Yukong.
- New permanent maps to explore.
- New Forgotten Hall: Memories of the Xianzhou (free Yukong when completed).
- New Cavern Relics.
- New Planar Ornaments.
- New boss (including new Echo of War boss).
- New enemies.
- New Stagnant Shadow.
- Login event with 10 Special Passes.
- Planar Fissure event (Planar Ornaments double drops).
- Realm of the Strange event (Cavern Relic double drops).
In addition to this impressive roster of login events, double drop periods, and permanent content, Honkai Star Rail’s 1.2 updates will include three limited-time events. One less than anticipated, but there is still plenty of ongoing stuff to keep us busy while we wait.
