- Twitter has launched a new feature called Twitter Job Listings.
- Verified organizations can now post job vacancies directly on their Twitter profiles.
- Workweek is among the first companies to have access to this feature.
- The job posting capability is part of Twitter’s Verified for Organizations package.
- The feature is expected to roll out to more businesses in the near future.
Some companies are now able to directly post job vacancies on their Twitter profile as Twitter Job Listings are gradually being pushed out to Verified Organizations in the app.
The new Twitter Job Listings function, which enables Workweek to advertise open positions in a distinct tab on its Twitter profile, was just made available to the firm, as you can see in this illustration.
The job posting capability is a bonus of the corporate verification service that is included in the $1,000 per month Verified for Organizations package, according to Workweek CEO Adam Ryan. Although it isn’t currently mentioned as an official feature on Twitter’s Verified Organizations website, live testing indicates that it is probably getting close to being life, with Workweek being one of the first businesses to have access to the new function.

Discover job opportunities with the Twitter job listings feature
Following the acquisition of job-matching start-up Laskie, which was the business’s first acquisition since Elon Musk acquired the app, the company has been enhancing the Twitter job posting feature over the previous few months.
As part of his bigger plan for the network, Elon has hinted at developing a LinkedIn rival. In addition, he may ultimately integrate additional video content, in-stream payments, dating profiles, and other features into the Twitter interface.
This is in line with Elon’s ‘everything app‘ strategy since Twitter is expected to allow an increasing variety of interactions and business processes while also delivering more usefulness. Therefore, it is hoped that more users would choose Twitter as their primary app, leading to additional growth potential, increased engagement, increased ad revenues, etc.
Right now, Twitter 2.0 is currently developing the structure for this new product, thus it is in its early phases. But ultimately, it’s Elon’s big idea, and job postings are only one part of that bigger picture.
The whole back-end procedure for job ads has already been established by Twitter, allowing businesses to direct interested users to an application page on their website or through a third-party supplier.
Twitter job posting feature: New opportunities for organizations
That might lead to the creation of new opportunities, and Workweek adds that it currently recruits a significant portion of its workforce based on Twitter connections, so this could be a useful and applicable addition for many different kinds of businesses.
The one significant caveat is that there is a fee, and Twitter only makes this option available to Verified Organizations. But on the other hand, Twitter is also giving out gold checkmarks ‘for free‘ to marketers that spend more than a particular threshold on Twitter advertisements every month. Because of this, it is possible that a large number of well-known businesses will be able to make use of this option in the months to come.
Twitter has not disclosed an official launch timetable for its job posting function, but it appears that the service will be available to users at some point in the near future.
