Known to many as the Tortured Gifts of Mystery, these valuable chests are solely available during the Helltide Events. As the sneaky treasures they are, they don’t appear on your regular map view. So, be ready to roll up your sleeves and put some time into hunting these down.
Why all the fuss about these chests, you may ask? They are the real deal, my friend. They bring to the table unique and legendary items, making every second of your treasure hunt worthwhile. There’s a catch, though. To access these, you’d need to spend 175 Aberrant Cinders, which you can only collect during a Helltide Event.
Thanks to an avid player, u/cloudeightk from Reddit, we’re now aware of 27 of these Diablo 4 Helltide Chest locations. But wait, there’s more! Since their post a week back, a few more hidden spots have been unveiled.
A fair warning, though: these are rough guides to the locations. The exact Diablo 4 Helltide Chest locations remain a mystery, adding to the thrill of your treasure hunt.
Now, let’s get into the specifics. As it stands, 11 chests are known to exist in the Kehjistan region. The Amber Sands sub-region has four, while the Ragged Coastline and Southern Expanse host three each. The Dismal foothills and Fethis Wasteland have two each, and one hides away at Omath’s Redoubt.
Nine chests are known to reside in Diablo 4’s Scosglen region. With four each in the North Shore and the Deep Forest sub-regions, and a lone chest braving the Highland Wind sub-region.
In the Dry Steppes region, there are five chests in total – three in the Khargai Crags, and two resting in the Untamed Crags.
The Fractured Peaks region also houses five chests. Three are nestled in the Frigid Expanse, while the Sarkova Pass area can potentially harbor two.
Lastly, the Hawezar region seems to be least populated with these chests, with two potential spawns each in the Dismal Foothills and the Fethis Wetlands sub-regions.
