Do you know how to obtain unlimited resources, materials, weapons, and rupees using the TOTK duplication glitch? In such a case, you are on the right page!
There are many bugs in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that allow players to duplicate objects, materials, weapons, swords, and shields – at least until Nintendo eventually fixes the flaw. The game’s economy may be essentially destroyed by using that bug to get endless rupees, which significantly reduces the enjoyment of playing Tears of the Kingdom as its designers intended.
However, the duplicating flaws in Tears of the Kingdom are simple and appear to be pretty safe to use if you’re short on resources or cash. All you need is a bow, some arrows, or a paraglider, some patience, and the faith that Nintendo won’t ever penalize you for abusing the system. Let’s take a closer look at the TOTK duplication glitch!
TOTK duplication glitch: How to duplicate materials?
You must have a shield, bow, and melee weapon equipped. Then follow these steps:
- Press the ZR button to switch to Link’s bow, but don’t knock any arrows or take aim.
- To fuse the material you wish to copy onto an arrow, press up on the D-pad.
- To drop your equipped bow, use the + button after pausing, switching to the “Bows and Arrows” menu.
- Equip a different bow while the pause menu is still visible.
- To exit and reopen the pause menu, swiftly press the + button twice.
- The material that has been fused should be visible on the bow and arrow you are using.
- Remove the bow that is now attached, then leave the pause menu.
- The fused materials on each of the two bows should be on the ground.
The ability to duplicate rare or costly commodities, such as diamonds, which may be purchased for 500 rupees apiece, is made possible via this bug.
TOTK duplication glitch: How to duplicate weapons?
Follow the steps below to duplicate weapons:
- Press the + button to see the pause menu.
- Put the weapon, shield, or bow you wish to copy in your possession.
- Select Manual Save from the System menu.
- Drop the object you wish to replicate from the inventory screen.
- Choose and equip a second identical item (choose a melee weapon if you are duplicating a melee weapon).
- To exit and reopen the pause menu, swiftly press the + button twice.
- Lay the weapon at your side.
- Reload the manual save from the System menu.
- The duplicate weapon has to be on the floor.
The timing of the pause menu’s shutting and reopening is quite tricky, much as with the materials duplication bug involving a bow and arrow. Before attempting the technique that exploits game saves, players who wish to duplicate melee weapons, shields, and bows may want to perfect their timing using the materials duplication bug.
How to do the new ‘fast’ TOTK duplication glitch?
A new duplicate bug was discovered during the weekend of May 20–21; it’s helpful if the above gets patched out or if you’re having trouble getting it to operate. Even better, this bug affects any inventory item (unlike guns or other equipment, which it does not).
New Fast Dupe Method – 20 Diamonds in under 30 seconds

We acknowledge USBdongle6727 on Reddit for the technique, which is shown in the video up above. However, even if this duplicate bug is simpler and quicker in theory, it has limitations that we’ll discuss below.
The number of things that may drop in a single spot is limited, to start with. Items will start despawning if there are more than 20(ish) of anything on the ground too close together. This implies that you can only perform so much replicating at once and that you need to use some caution.
Additionally, you must be cautious with the objects you drop since they may shatter if dropped from a certain height, or if their legs can escape, they won’t be able to be picked up when you land. It is a comfort that diamonds, the apparent duplication candidate, don’t have either issue.
- You need to prepare a little bit since this bug takes advantage of the way the game manages your inventory. You must have at least one item in your inventory with a quantity of less than four, ideally more. You will get this item back, but it will not be replicated; it is just being used to start the exploit. The ability to empty an inventory space is essential.
- The item you wish to replicate must then be in the final inventory slot. The quickest method to get an item to the final slot is to drop everything, pick it up, and then drop the last item you picked up (that wasn’t already in your inventory).
- Jump from a neighboring ledge (or roof, tree, or other structure). Activate your paraglider.
- To see your inventory, press +.
- To empty an inventory dump, choose one item (or things) and hold it. You will receive this back, but it won’t duplicate.
- The item you wish to replicate is in your final inventory slot; choose it. These may be held in whatever number you like.
- Hit + once to depart your inventory, and then hit + again as soon as you can. You need should still see the same amount of objects in your inventory in the last slot as you did at the beginning.
- As you descend, repeat this procedure a couple of times, but no more than three or four times – see the section on despawning things above for more information.
- You will pick up your replicated things when you land and proceed as described above.
This is a quick technique to duplicate any item in the game, however, you may need to get a bit inventive to keep the item you want to copy in the final spot of your inventory. That’s all you need to know about the TOTK duplication glitch.
