Users are not happy with TikTok’s new font. The immensely popular social networking site TikTok is well recognized for its amusing and brief videos. Similar to a virtual stage, it allows users to connect with others from across the world while showcasing their skills and ideas.

Having said that, TikTok recently replaced its vintage Proxima Nova – Semibold typeface with a new one on the platform. But instead of getting a warm reception, people have been harshly critical of the new typeface.

Many users have expressed their frustration and desire for a return to the traditional typeface on Twitter, underscoring the significance of familiarity and readability in their user experience.

How is the TikTok new font different?

The usage of a new typeface is one of TikTok’s most recent improvements.

No, you aren’t simply seeing things; the app’s writing has changed from what it was. The app has a whole new appearance. It’s difficult to put into words precisely what it is, but perhaps more sleek and contemporary. But the new appearance is unpopular with many users.

Some Twitter users used the terms “Ugly” and “Disgusting” to characterize the May 15th update. Many users of social media expressed their dislike for the new typeface and wish to return to the previous one. Or do folks simply dislike change since the new typeface isn’t all that great? Well, that is something that each person must determine for himself.

The Proxima Nova – Semibold typeface from the original TikTok had evolved into the platform’s aesthetic style. It had a clear and legible style that people generally praised.

The new typefaces have drawn criticism from users for being hard to read and understand visually.

Unfortunately, there isn’t presently a way to return to the original font, so users will have to continue using the new ones until TikTok changes it back or creates new typefaces that better suit users’ needs.

Unfortunately, TikTok hasn’t yet responded to allegations that users have requested a return to the original typeface. You may be sure that we will maintain track of the most recent developments and let you know as soon as we learn of anything important.

Can you change it back?

Unfortunately, there is currently no method to restore the former typeface on your TikTok display. Therefore, it doesn’t appear like there is a solution for individuals who don’t like the new typeface. After the novelty of the difference wears off, perhaps it will grow on you. Or perhaps TikTok will provide a method to change it back in the future.

Eventually, you’ll grow used to it!
