Elon Musk’s alt account causes confusion and speculation. Musk’s actions on social media frequently make headlines. The Tesla and SpaceX CEO’s Twitter account is a regular source of interest, from provocative remarks to announcements and updates on what is going on at his numerous firms.
Musk made news earlier this month when instead of the famous blue bird logo connected with the cryptocurrency Dogecoin was shown on the microblogging network when viewed via the web.
After a few days, the logos were reversed, and we had our little birdie back. Musk is back in the spotlight for another stunt.
What if we told you that Elon Musk has a hidden Twitter account where he pretends to be his three-year-old son and engages in some shitposting? Yes, you read that correctly. Fasten your seatbelts, because you’re about to go on a virtual journey to a new planet, courtesy of Elon Musk’s newest social media escapade.
Elon Musk’s alt account on Twitter
So, how did the world learn about Elon Musk’s alt account? It all started when Mr. Musk sought to teach content providers how to enable subscriptions on Twitter.
Musk’s Twitter recently added a feature that allows content providers to urge Twitter users to subscribe in order to receive exclusive material. To subscribe to their desired account, each user must pay a monthly charge.
Musk stated in an email to content providers on how to enable subscriptions, “Content creators may wish to enable subscriptions on this platform.” Simply select Monetization from the options menu.”
What drew the Internet’s attention, though, was a profile photo next to Musk’s. Musk’s profile image suggested that he has many accounts signed into his smartphone.
Netizens began looking for the account, which had the same profile image as Musk’s post. Musk’s kid appears in the profile photo, and the account’s handle is @ErmnMusk.
The account was formed in November 2022, according to its Twitter profile. Even if the account’s tweets are few, the replies are many. And they frequently make no sense.
The hidden messages in Elon Musk’s alt account tweets
Musk pretends to be his son, who is almost three years old, in some tweets from the account. “I will finally turn 3 on May 4th!” reads the latest tweet. Elon Musk’s kid was born on May 4, 2020, for those who are unaware.
“For the love of God, can someone follow me?” writes another tweet dated December 6, last year.
A simple peek at the ‘Replies‘ section, on the other hand, reveals that this account was created with the sole intention of shitposting, as the bulk of tweets is nonsensical and completely random.
For example, the account responded to a tweet by Michael Saylor, executive chairman of MicroStrategy and a Bitcoin advocate. The reply to Saylor’s tweet that claimed, ‘Satoshi had the correct idea’ says, “Do you like Japanese girls?”
In another response, Musk writes as his little kid, “I wish I was old enough to go to nightclubs.” They sound like a lot of fun.”
The account also replied to a tweet that had the picture of Caroline Ellison, former CEO of Alameda Research. For the unversed, Alameda Research was a trading specializing in cryptocurrencies. The firm earned huge losses in October 2021. It was reported that Alameda Research suffered losses of over $2.8 billion in a single day due to a market crash in the cryptocurrency market. In November 2022, the trading firm filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
Replying to a tweet that talked about the company and had a picture of its CEO Caroline Elliso, the Twitter account wrote, “I (heart emoticon) librarians.”
The account also replied to a meme shared by Elon Musk himself. “Is this a real peon video?” the tweet reads.
The account is gradually gaining popularity among netizens, and individuals are responding to the tweets.
“Ask Dad to give you $8 for a blue check,” one person said, while another asked, “Can you ask your father when Tesla is going to buy more Dogecoin?”
At the time of writing, Elon Musk’s alt account had roughly 43,000 followers. It should be noted that Musk has not formally claimed responsibility for the shitposting from this account.
