One of the most popular streamers Kai Cenat banned on Twitch’s Monday, April 17.
Even though his Twitch broadcasting career just began in 2021, the 21-year-old content producer is already one of the greatest stars in the industry. The most recent evidence of his superstar status comes in February when Kai Cenat reached a spectacular subscription milestone that only two other persons have achieved so far.
Kai Cenat’s career has reached a snag after Twitch blocked his channel on April 17. Amazon’s streaming service has yet to disclose a particular rationale for its decision, although experience suggests that the suspension will be brief. Not least since three of Kai Cenat’s previous suspensions lasted little more than three days. Twitch suspended Kai Cenat for 30 days a little over a year ago, his most severe punishment to date.

This drove the well-known content producer to declare that he was “done” with the platform, only to return to his usual streaming schedule a month later.
Kai Cenat banned on Twitch
The Twitch Community Guidelines expressly prohibit material that endangers anyone’s life or praises activities that might result in physical damage for any reason; racing a motorcycle through a living room probably meets this definition of endangerment.
The anti-endangerment rule is also at the heart of the dominant explanation for Kai Cenat’s first Twitch ban in 2023, as the suspension was issued just days after he passed out during one of his late January shows.
Meanwhile, in the aftermath of this revelation, a strong segment of his supporters is asking for him to make a transfer to Kick. While Kick has consistently said that it would never issue poorly explained bans, its Community Guidelines are quite similar to Twitch’s, raising the question of whether Kai Cenat’s dirt bike stunt would have been tolerated on that platform.
So, Kai Cenat banned because he ride a motorcycle through a living room. Funny, isn’t it?

Given that fans are perplexed as to why Kai Cenat was banned this time, it’s evident that it was most likely a retrospective suspension for anything that happened in the last few days. Right now, it appears that Twitch banned him because of a recent stream in which the streamer crashed a motorbike into his setup. When it comes to reckless driving, the platform is very rigorous, and wrecking a motorbike indoors is probably about as bad as you can get.
This is not Cenat’s first time
Many streamers have criticized Kai Cenat’s answers as inadequately truthful throughout the years, but it doesn’t change the fact that Kai Cenat likely knows a little bit more about his present situation than what he has informed the viewers thus far.
Before Kai Cenat banned is reported to be the result of an event in which Kai consumed marijuana-laced treats during his stream. Marijuana usage is not prohibited on Twitch, however, it is discouraged and may result in a ban in some instances.
Marijuana usage can result in Twitch bans if it is damaging, in violation of local laws, or if it is the major emphasis of the stream.
However, the streaming site never explicitly validated that hypothesis because it does not comment on specific suspensions. It remains to be seen whether Kai Cenat himself will offer any light on this matter since Twitch often provides content creators with brief reasons for suspensions.
Kai Cenat is one of the world’s most popular streamers right now. However, he has had several setbacks in his work as a content developer. This isn’t the first time Kai Cenat has been banned from Twitch; he’s been banned four times before.
In total Kai Cenat banned on Twitch 5 times.
Is he moving to Kick?
Social media comments range from confusion to jokes about how Twitch rejected Kick’s gift to Kai Cenat, which he unwrapped during one of his recent streams. Looking at the streamer’s most recent broadcasts, it appears that this current restriction was caused by the fact that he drove a dirt bike indoors.
Throughout his broadcasting career, Kai Cenat has been a top content provider on Twitch. Despite pulling in a lot of money for the platform, it appears that he is not untouchable. Kai Cenat has been linked to Kick after being banned from Twitch for the seventh time.
Kick’s substantial sub-revenue share is one of their primary selling factors in attracting more broadcasters. Kick will offer their creators 95% of their money, as opposed to Twitch, which purportedly takes 50% of their broadcasters’ revenue. This has certainly attracted Twitch streamers, with Chess Grandmaster Hikaru “GMHikaru” among many who have converted to Kick.
