Android Auto 9.2 is now available to all users as an official update, even those not registered in the beta program. The update, version 9.2.6312, is being distributed through the Google Store, less than a week after it was released as a beta and about two weeks after the last stable update. This makes it easier for users to access the latest version of the app.

Android Auto 9.2: What does it have to offer?

The beta release of Android Auto 9.2 has been brief, as the update is now available to all users. Google appears to be satisfied with the results, as the update is being distributed to all users via the Google Play store, and some users may already have received it.

Users can check their Android Auto version to see if they have received the update. Upon installing Android Auto 9.2, we have found that there are no visible changes from the beta version, as the updates have occurred internally. This release marks an important step forward for Android Auto, providing users with a more stable and reliable experience while driving.

Despite the release of Android Auto 9.2, some features are still pending changes from the server side. Users have reported that they are unable to find the clear theme of Coolwalk, nor the redesign of Material You of its settings on the mobile.

Additionally, some users have been unable to open Google Maps on the mobile while Android Auto is running, despite reports that this feature has been in development since last month. The redesign of the settings with Android Auto with Material You is a highly anticipated update that has yet to arrive, leaving users waiting for further updates to the platform.

Google has not provided specific details on the changes included in Android Auto 9.2. As per usual, the list of updates on Google Play has remained the same for years, despite changes being made behind the scenes.

Android Auto has faced various known bugs over time, and Google has been working to resolve them gradually. It is expected that the latest update will attempt to address at least some of these issues. In the meantime, it is recommended that users keep their Android Auto app up-to-date, to resolve minor issues and to gain access to new features when Google makes them available.

The release of Android Auto 9.2 provides Android users with an enhanced experience while driving. Although the update does not seem to come with any visible changes, it is important to keep the app up-to-date to access any new features that Google may activate in the future.

As Google continues to tackle the known bugs, Android Auto users can expect an even more seamless integration between their mobile devices and cars. While it remains to be seen what Google has planned for the future of Android Auto, for now, users can enjoy a smoother, more efficient driving experience with the latest update.
