Apple Watch March Activity Challenge launched for awareness about violence and abuse against women and gender equality. This a very sensible move in this month as we celebrate Women’s Day.
“March 8 is a day to celebrate women around the world! Earn this award by doing any workout for 20 minutes or more. Record your time with the Workout app or any app that adds workouts to Health.”

Apple Watch March Activity Challenge
You can still win this year’s challenge by doing any 20-minute workout (or longer, if you choose) with the built-in Workout app or any third-party app that shares data with the Health database.
To be clear, this is not the first time that Apple Watch owners have been given the opportunity to accumulate digital trophies. Previous years have seen Apple host similar competitions in honor of International Women’s Day.
How do Apple Watch Fitness Challenges work?
These fitness competitions aren’t just a way for the Cupertino firm to honor women on March 8th. On a monthly basis, they issue challenges just for Apple Watch owners to mark important events.
There is no set timeline for when Apple will release new fitness challenges; there have been stretches where a month or two has gone by without a new one. Furthermore, there are times when individuals may face many difficulties in a single month.
These interactive challenges are accessible in most countries (but not all) around the world. Apple Watch owners may rest easy knowing that they will never miss a beat because timely alerts are delivered to their wrists in the days preceding any impending fitness competition.
