As one of many sidequests in Hogwarts Legacy Gobs of Gobstones will take you on an exploration journey. While walking about Hogwarts Castle in Hogwarts Legacy, you will come across Zenobia, who will give you the assignment of locating her gobstones.
As a side mission, “Gobs of Gobstones” is optional for players to perform in order to advance the Hogwarts Legacy tale. Yet, finishing the mission grants you useful experience and a wand handle to strengthen your character. In order to retrieve her Gobstones, Zenobia, who appears to be in her first or second year of college, requires your assistance.
How to begin Hogwarts Legacy Gobs of Gobstones quest?
You must locate Zenobia Noke in the Defense Against the Dark Arts Tower and speak with her in order to begin the Hogwarts Legacy Gobs of Gobstones sidequest. She is standing next to the steps, next to the courtyard. Just keep an ear out for her asking an older pupil for assistance if you are having problems finding her.
You will need to start seeking the Gobstones after agreeing to assist her in finding them. The Charmed Compass is the greatest tool for this, which should be used after tracking the mission. When your character says, “I’d best keep an eye on high locations around the school for Zenobia’s Gobstones,” you will be directed to the general region where a Gobstone can be found.
The First Gobstone
The first Gobstone is located nearby the courtyard where you originally spoke with Zenobia to begin the Hogwarts Legacy Gobs of Gobstones quest. Look up and about after hearing the dialogue line of your character to find the Gobstone. As shown in the image below, it is located brightly on top of the covered outdoor passageway. You should use the Accio spell to seize it.
The Second Gobstone
Quite high up in the castle is where you’ll find the second Gobstone. You should follow the Charmed Compass to a set of stairs that lead up past the Divination class in Hogwarts Legacy.
The Gobstone is really located on the chandelier hanging over the stairs that you just climbed, despite how alluring it may be to climb the ladder. Use Accio once again to remove the Gobstone from the chandelier in the image above.
The Third Gobstone
Go back down the steps and then climb up onto some nearby rafters. On the other side of the fence, at eye level on a wooden beam, is the third of Zenobia’s Gobstones. In Hogwarts Legacy, this is close to where you learn how to access arithmancy doors. You should be able to locate the Gobstone using the image above.
The Fourth Gobstone
You will need to use the Charmed Compass to locate the next Gobstone because it is a bit of a walk.
You should be able to reach the Ravenclaw Tower by following the glowing path after that, as well as a blue hallway with substantial pillars and arches. The Gobstone should be shining up at the third pillar on the right, waiting for an Accio spell to bring it down.
The Fifth Gobstone
Go to the Grand Staircase and climb all the way to the trophy room to locate the fifth Gobstone. You’ll see a knight in armor, many armored suits, and an impressive-looking, enormous suit of armor. However, unlike the armor-suit enemies at the start of Hogwarts Legacy, these ones don’t come to life and assault you. The Gobstone is perched atop the window frame depicted above, just beyond them.
The Sixth Gobstone
The last Gobstone is not far from the fifth one; all you need to do is make a sharp right turn to enter the trophy room’s main area. On a shelf surrounded by other trophies on the opposite side of the chamber is where you’ll find the Gobstone. If you are having problems finding it, you should keep an eye out for the sporadic glow the Gobstones emit.
Returning to Zenobia
Once you have collected all six Gobstones, you can begin returning to Zenobia. She may be hard to locate after scouring the area in quest of her Gobstones for so long, but she can always be located by the steps in the Defense Against the Dark Arts Tower.
You can either use Floo Flames to quickly go to a nearby place or run back there by using your Charmed Compass. You are given a choice after speaking with Zenobia about whether or not to hand over the Gobstones to her.
The final choice
After you inform Zenobia that you have located every Gobstone, she will kindly request their return; however, players are not compelled to do so. The prizes for the mission are the same whether you decide to return them or keep them.
You will specifically get experience and the “Orbicular – Violet,” a wand handle that can be used to personalize your wands in Hogwarts Legacy. The Gobstones aren’t actually given to you as items or anything; they merely seem to enrage Zenobia when they’re kept from her.
For this reason, you are generally advised to return Zenobia’s Gobstones unless you are playing an intentionally cruel or evil character. It’s not yet apparent whether this choice will affect Zenobia’s interaction with yoıu in the future, but it’s safe to assume so.
There are many other occasions than Hogwarts Legacy Gobs of Gobstones quest where you’ll need to make decisions. However, some of these choices will have more severe consequences.
