In this Hogwarts Legacy unlock broom guide, we’ll show you why you are struggling with unlocking brooms and what importance brooms have in the game.

Brooms are unlocked in Hogwarts Legacy between 8 and 10 hours into the game. Yet since the adventure in which you discover how to fly a broomstick is a component of the primary narrative, you can’t miss it. The wait is, fortunately, worthwhile because riding a broom is just as fantastic as you’d imagine it would be.

In Hogwarts Legacy, you won’t be able to use your broom until about 8 to 10 hours into the game. In the primary quest “Flying Class,” Madam Kogawa will instruct you on the fundamentals of flying. After that, you can travel to Spintwitches in Hogsmeade to pay 600 gold for a broom.

Unfortunately, in Hogwarts Legacy, there is no way to get a broom for nothing. Yet, at this stage of the game, you ought to have 600 gold extra. Once all of your money has been gone, you can either sell some equipment or look about for an eye chest you haven’t opened yet (just one will bring you most of the way there).

In Hogwarts Legacy, all brooms perform equally; therefore, choose the one that appeals to you the most. Fortunately, all of them are affected by any enhancements you buy. So, you can consider the various broomstick models to be skins. However, we have a more detailed guide on brooms in Hogwarts Legacy that you can read in this article: Best Hogwarts Legacy brooms and upgrades.

How to get a broom in Hogwarts Legacy

The game isn’t entirely clear about how to achieve flying or when you’ll get your very own broomstick, but the Hogwarts Legacy unlock broom is an essential tool for flying around the not-so-small countryside surrounding the namesake school of witchcraft and wizardry. In contrast to Harry Potter’s adventures, a kind instructor won’t send you the newest broom merely for fun. In contrast, Hogwarts Legacy unlock broom is demanding. While the temptation to leave and explore the land around Hogwarts is strong, doing so will only cause you to move slowly.

Your beloved broom is the next-best means to go quickly across the map, barring fast travel(opens in new tab) with Floo Flames, even though you can eventually get flying mounts. Here, I’ll describe where to receive your Hogwarts Legacy broom, how to get broom upgrades, and how to unlock flying so you can explore the larger landscape. By the way, if you are only reading about the game and not playing, we suggest you experience the wizarding world as it has a vast amount of content. You can view and purchase the game from the game’s official site.

Once you’ve finished the objective Jackdaw’s Rest on your second day at Hogwarts—not merely when a day-night cycle happens—and have returned to the common room to rest, you’ll be given the task Flying Class, which sends you to the Flying Class Lawn in the Bell Tower Wing. If you choose to accept Everett Clopton’s offer, you’ll receive a brief flying instruction from Madam Kogawa and an aerial tour of the castle; this will result in some points being lost from your house, but it’s well worth it for the aerial sequence.

You can purchase a broom from Spintwitch’s Sports Needs in Hogsmeade after the class is over. The first time you get here, the store is closed, but after the class, you can buy any broom you want for 600 galleons. If you run out, keep in mind that you can sell your equipment or obtain more by pillaging containers, camps, and treasure chests.
