Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct: Minecraft: Legends, Hi-Fi RUSH, and more
There were some headliners of the event as some Microsoft-partnered games hold huge audiences in their hands. Minecraft is one of them, and the new Minecraft Legends was introduced at the event. Let’s take a deeper look at every announcement.
Minecraft: Legends
Today, at the Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct, we got the release date for the next action-strategy game set in Minecraft, April 18. The game’s PVP mode, which takes place in the same procedurally generated environments as the single-player campaign, was also shown off by Xbox. The gameplay demonstrated a variety of tactics, such as base construction, mob recruitment, and the use of Redstone to defeat the opposing team.
Hi-Fi RUSH
Before the event, Tango Gameworks’ Hi-Fi Rush was already leaked. This rhythm action game appears to be influenced by the well-known Jet Set Radio. The game is out on the market and players can give it a try if they wish to. Moreover, it is also available on the Xbox Game Pass.
Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom
Necrom is the newest expansion of The Elder Scrolls Online series. The chapter takes place in Morrowind, taking players back in time. Besides, the newest class of the game, the Arcanist has also been revealed at the Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct. More good news came for The Elder Scrolls Online players at the event. It was announced that all 20 previous chapters and DLCs will be free for everyone only for a limited time. If you have the game, you will be able to try other chapters and DLCs for free for a limited amount of time.
Forza Motorsport
The latest Forza Motorsport gameplay video was also shown at the event. Forza’s newest title will be released in 2023 but the exact date is still not known. According to the devs, there will be 20 different locations for the players to race at. Five of them will be new places and the rest will be from past titles. The game will include over 500 cars with 100 of them being new. Lastly, the game will run at 4K 60fps with ray tracing.
Redfall
The last on the list is Redfall, a co-op vampire shooter expected to come out on May 2. It was one of the headliners of the event as it was awaited by most of the fans for a while and there is almost one month before its release date. We had the chance to see a gameplay video of it, as seen above.
