You may not believe in artificial intelligence becoming the future focus of humanity but would an AI Chatbot MBA Exam results change your mind? Per some authorities, it has reached a level that is a threat to humanity in certain cases, but most argue that it is to our benefit.
ChatGPT is currently the most popular in its division with its ability to understand complicated questions or tasks and respond with mostly satisfying answers, even in its beta version. Moreover, it is backed by Elon Musk, one of the technology industry’s most loved and hated personalities. The AI bot’s abilities vary from answering a simple math question to passing an MBA exam, according to Professor Christian Terwiesch at the University of Phoenix’s Wharton School.
AI Chatbot MBA Exam results were satisfying
Whether you like Elon Musk or not, he is frequently associated with a newsworthy innovation or controversy. According to Steve Mollman of Fortune, this week, the artificial intelligence chatbot ChatGPT, supported by Musk, made headlines for being able to pass an MBA exam given by a curious professor at the University of Phoenix’s Wharton School with a B grade.
Professor Christian Terwiesch published a study paper analyzing ChatGPT’s performance on a typical MBA core course final exam, in this instance, Operations Management. This went beyond simply asking what these kinds of AI tools signify for MBA programs.
The professor reportedly stated in the paper that the AI chatbot “does an incredible job at basic operations management and process analysis questions, including those that are based on case studies.” He noted that it had some limitations, such as the inability to handle “more advanced process analysis problems.” But according to him, ChatGPT “would have received a B to B- score on the exam.” As per Mr. Terwiesch, the bot has looked impressive in other places when generating legal documents, and “some believe that the next generation of this technology might even be able to pass the bar exam.”
According to Fortune, Mr. Terwiesch argued in his paper’s introduction that ChatGPT might have a comparable influence with electronic calculators’ effect on the corporate sector. This explains some of the reasons for the AI Chatbot MBA Exam results.
“Prior to the introduction of calculators and other computing devices, many firms employed hundreds of employees whose task it was to perform mathematical operations such as multiplications or matrix inversions manually. Obviously, such tasks are now automated, and the value of the associated skills has dramatically decreased. In the same way, any automation of the skills taught in our MBA programs could potentially reduce the value of an MBA education,” he said in his paper.

What’s ChatGPT?
Launched by OpenAI in November 2022, ChatGPT (Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer) is a chatbot. The GPT-3 family of big language models from OpenAI is the foundation upon which it is built, and it is tweaked using both supervised and reinforcement learning methods.
On November 30, 2022, ChatGPT was introduced as a prototype. It soon gained popularity for its thorough and clear responses in various subject areas. One key flaw was noted to be its uneven factual correctness.
What’s next?
Currently, lots of professions, from software engineers to college students, use the benefits that artificial intelligence offers. Technology’s evolvement includes miracles for many, and the upcoming news on AI surely excites the majority of the community. It is very hard to say what awaits us in the near future, but these steps give us the main structure. An AI Chatbot MBA Exam result is fascinating for now, but we never know what it will achieve soon!
