The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) features businesses that produce, develop, and supply consumer technology hardware, content, technology delivery methods, and more. It also has a conference schedule where the most influential intellectuals and business executives around the globe discuss the pressing problems facing the sector. The CES is back in action with CES 2023. Numerous businesses have taken advantage of the chance to introduce brand-new items in every imaginable industry, from the most innovative to the least iterative.
CES top products 2023 list is huge
Mobile, Smart homes, Monitors and displays, Audio, VR and AR, and many other innovative products have been presented to visitors firsthand at the CES 2023. As we wrote the article, we felt the need to do a little CES 2023 recap for you, just one day after the fair ended. Let’s take a look at our CES top products 2023 list.
Mobile devices
Let us start our CES top products 2023 list with mobile devices. Samsung Galaxy A14 5G and Motorola ThinkPhone were our favorites in the smartphone category of CES 2023. We haven’t seen the Lenovo ThinkPhone series for a long time, and we were delighted to hear the legendary phone return at CES. Here are CES top products 2023 for mobile devices:
- Samsung Galaxy A14 5G
- Lenovo ThinkPhone
Samsung Galaxy A14 5G
Our CES top products 2023 list features an amazing price-performance product.
At CES 2023, Samsung unveiled a brand-new smartphone that, while it might not be the most interesting new Android phone we’ll see from the company in the early months of this year, is nevertheless expected to be a top seller. The Samsung Galaxy A14 is a new addition for those looking for a less expensive One UI device with specs that are outstanding considering the price. It is a follow-up to the impressive Galaxy A13.
The Galaxy A14 5G runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset and has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, 4GB of RAM, and a 5,000mAh battery. There is a 50MP primary camera, although it looks on paper to be very comparable to the snapper on the gadget from the previous generation, which didn’t really wow us. However, all of this will just cost you $200, making it one of the finest affordable phones of 2023.
Lenovo ThinkPhone
The Lenovo ThinkPhone by Motorola, a business-focused flagship Android phone inspired by the iconic brand of laptops, was our favorite smartphone at CES 2023. To activate Lenovo’s Think 2 Think features, it combines a strong set of specifications with an aramid fiber case and the distinctive red key. It’s fantastic to see them collaborating in new ways after over ten years of Lenovo owning Motorola. This phone’s price has not yet been established, and Lenovo will only guarantee availability in the future months.
VR and AR
Up next on our list of CES top products 2023 are VR and AR devices. In the field of VR and AR, the technologies of the future, two magnificent products offered to users stood out for us. TCL RayNeo X2 and HTC Vive XR Elite not only provide access to users with their price but also have much more innovative features in their specific categories compared to their competitors.
TCL RayNeo X2
Do you recall Google Glass? TCL believes that the time has come for fully functional AR glasses, which can provide navigational instructions, real-time translation, take pictures and videos, and more. The TCL RayNeo X2 isn’t going to win any fashion awards, but the technology inside these glasses is very astounding, and during our hands-on time, we felt as though we had walked into the future.
In early 2023, TCL will distribute these to developers before eventually selling them commercially in China this year. They may become the first AR glasses of this class to be freely accessible after a global release.
HTC Vive XR Elite
The HTC Vive XR Elite is here. The Vive XR Elite weighs 625 grams, which is just somewhat more than the Meta Quest 2, but it rivals the more powerful and expensive Meta Quest Pro in terms of performance and power. Additionally, they are interchangeable, enabling you to swiftly convert them into your theater glasses. Pre-orders for the $1,099 Vive XR Elite are currently available.
Monitors and displays
LG and Samsung are taking over our CES top products 2023 list in the display area.
In 2023, imaging technologies will especially delight players. While LG fascinated CES visitors with foldable screens and advanced display technologies, Samsung did not surprise us this year and presented us with two new monitors that are hard to beat in daily use and gaming. These are our picks of monitors and displays for the CES top products 2023 list:
- LG Display 360-degree foldable OLED
- LG Meta
- Samsung ViewFinity S9
- Samsung Odyssey Neo G9
LG Display 360-degree foldable OLED
Similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Fold, this 8-inch OLED panel can fold in both directions, offering you more options for how to utilize your device. One of the strongest foldable to date, the display is sturdy enough to resist 200,000 folds. The next generation of foldable phones is expected to use this display technology, hopefully resulting in a much less noticeable seam.
LG Meta
Thanks to its new Meta technology, LG is introducing bigger and brighter OLED screens to the market. Not to be confused with the parent company of Facebook, Meta displays have a peak brightness of 2,100 nits, which is up to 60% brighter than LG’s current OLED technology. A microlens array, a layer of lenses that maximize light emission, is used in the new technology. Although no concrete plans have been made public yet, LG intends to eventually incorporate Meta panels into its TVs.
Samsung ViewFinity S9
The 5K (5120 x 2880px) IPS screen on the new Samsung ViewFinity S9 monitor features a Delta E2 and HDR600 capability and supports 99 percent of the DCI-P3 wide color gamut.
In addition to third-party calibration tools, Samsung has expanded support for its Color Calibration Engine technology, which makes use of the company’s Samsung Smart Calibration mobile app to calibrate the display. The Samsung 2022 TVs were the first to use this feature, and it is currently available in their monitor ranges.
Samsung Odyssey Neo G9
The new Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 monitor has a 57-inch screen with a resolution of 7.680 by 2.160, making it an ultrawide panel with a 32:9 aspect ratio, according to information from Samsung. That does not equal 8K, despite what the business claims.
The display’s breadth is only as big as a 4K monitor, but its width is similar to an 8K panel. Depict the Odyssey Neo G9 as having two 28.5-inch 4K displays stacked on top of each other. However, the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9’s panel is sizable. A 1000R 57-inch display can fit content in the whole field of vision. The display integrates quantum micro-LED technology, according to a Samsung report, to maximize power efficiency and content quality.
Laptops
We saw at CES that foldable screen technology is slowly coming to laptops as well. Dell, on the other hand, presented a very powerful laptop to the players with the Alienware sub-brand that will leave the gamers’ mouths open. Here are the CES top products 2023 in the field of laptops:
- HP Dragonfly Pro Chromebook
- Asus Chromebook Vibe CX34 Flip
- Alienware X16 and M18
HP Dragonfly Pro Chromebook
The HP Dragonfly Pro Chromebook, a powerful Chrome OS laptop, is at the forefront of the upcoming generation of gaming Chromebooks. It is capable of being equipped with premium parts like a Core i7 processor and up to 32GB of RAM. The laptop will begin shipping in June, so start setting aside money now!
Asus Chromebook Vibe CX34 Flip
The Asus Chromebook Vibe CX34 Flip is perfect for gamers. Along with excellent specifications and a convertible physical factor, it has the typical gamer aesthetics. You may get a laptop with up to 16GB RAM, an RGB backlit keyboard, an Intel Core i7 processor, and even a pen that docks directly into the laptop. For this machine, the cost and availability are currently unknown.
Alienware X16 and M18
Our CES top products 2023 list features two amazing products from Alienware.
Along with being a sizable and potent laptop, the Alienware M18 also includes several other noteworthy characteristics. It includes multiple interfaces, including two Thunderbolt 4 connectors, HDMI 2.1, Ethernet, and an SD card reader, and can be equipped with an 18-inch QHD Plus screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio. It can accommodate up to 9TB of NVMe M.2 storage and features dual DDR5 RAM slots that are user upgradeable. This model’s starting price is $2,099, although the first release’s configuration will cost $2,899.
The X16, Alienware’s latest flagship 16-inch model, has us more excited. Although it has a thinner chassis than the X17 from the previous year, its display is 14% bigger since it uses the 16:10 aspect ratio, which is taller. Moreover, it features six speakers, a first for Alienware laptops. Intel’s 13th Generation processors and Nvidia’s RTX 4090 will be supported by Alienware X16. The Alienware X16 has a $2,149 starting price, but a $3,099 high-end model will be available initially.
Smart home
Smarthome appliances are the most reliable technological assistants in our homes. At CES 2023, we had the opportunity to meet many new products that managed to impress us with their design and use. Here are CES top products 2023 list’s best Smarthome gadgets.
Yeelight Cube
Our CES top products 2023 list has something great for gamers who love their desks to shine! The Yeelight Cube line consists of three items: Matrix, Panel, and Spot. To create completely adjustable vertical or horizontal stacks, each cube snaps together with other cubes. You can build countless alternative setups using these parameters to suit your unique situation. These are a must-have for your gaming area because of the included Razer Chroma technology and matter support right out of the box. It will cost $75.99 for the Yeelight Cube and a controller, and $45.99 for each additional cube. The pre-order period will start in March.
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The S8 Pro Ultra is an automatic cleaning device for most flooring surfaces and the top model in the new Roborock S8 family. When used with the RockDock Ultra, this robot is capable of self-cleaning, mopping, and vacuuming. Even better, it has self-emptying and self-refilling capabilities for the water tank. Coming soon for $1,599.99, with minimal effort for optimum cleaning.
Homey Pro
If you have a smart home, you undoubtedly have numerous redundant hubs and uncooperative devices. By serving as the lone smart home hub that rules them all, Homey Pro addresses these issues. It would take several articles to cover all the capabilities of Homey Pro, and since Matter and Thread support will be added before the end of the year, its capabilities will only increase. The Homey Pro is currently available for $350 and will begin arriving in February.
Audio
Did you think we were going to skip the audio category on our CES top products 2023 list? That’s unlikely because Sennheiser and JBL were at CES2023 with two great new devices.
Sennheiser Conversation Clear Plus
We continue our CES top products 2023 list with a product that is more of a hearing aid than a headset.
The Sennheiser Conversation Clear Plus isn’t headphones but they can stream your music if you want them to they are over-the-counter hearing aids. Voice augmentation and ambient noise reduction allow users to hear their environment more clearly. We were astounded by their comfort as well as how we could hear the individual in front of us in a noisy, crowded space.
JBL Bar 1300X
One of the soundbars with the most features we’ve ever seen is the JBL Bar 1300X. In addition to the 1,170W 3D soundbar itself, the wirelessly installed detachable rear satellite speakers immerse you in strong, clear music from throughout the room. These smaller speakers have a battery life of up to 10 hours and can be used independently. Later in February, the JBL Bar 1300X will be sold for $1,700.
Automotive
Even in the automotive field, innovations were at CES 2023. Two models caught our eye and impressed us. Our selections in the automotive field in our CES top products 2023 list are as follows:
- Afeela
- BMW i Vision Dee
Afeela
This year, Sony announced a new automobile brand named Afeela at CES, which was a bit odd. Afeela, which was developed in collaboration with Honda, combines Sony’s high-end technological know-how with Honda’s automotive industry expertise to produce the future of electric vehicles. Sony intends to sell the first devices in the US at some point in 2026, but no pricing information has been released as of yet.
BMW i Vision Dee
We continue our CES top products 2023 list with BMW’s color-changing car.
Technology sometimes seems so cold. The I Vision Dee from BMW aims to change that. This futuristic automobile does away with Siri and Alexa’s “servant” gimmick using cutting-edge AI. Instead, it wants to be both your friend and your car. 240 E Ink panels make form the exterior of the electric sports automobile known as the I Vision Dee. Because it is an EV, the ventilation that a grille traditionally offers is not needed. However, you may utilize those panels to program a digital face into the car’s grille and alter the color of the vehicle at the touch of a button.
Although the BMW I Vision Dee is still just a concept, some of its features will eventually make their way into genuine BMW vehicles. For instance, according to BMW CEO Oliver Zipse, real automobiles will begin using the AI-powered HUB technology shown in the I Vision Dee in 2025.
