Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Fallout 76, and Axiom Verge 2 have been officially unveiled as the free PS Plus games January 2023. Sony usually announces a new set of free PlayStation Plus titles on the last Wednesday of each month, and this month is no exception.
However, when it comes to the free PS Plus games January 2023, a leaker actually beat Sony to the punch. The games will be accessible until February 6th. It’s worth noting that all three games have PS4 versions, however PS5 players can get the native PS5 versions of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Axiom Verge 2. Fallout 76 does not have a next-generation version, but because PS5 is backward compatible with PS4, it will still be playable on Sony’s newer hardware.

It’s also worth noting that the titles are available for free to all PS Plus subscribers. The monthly free PS Plus games are one of the key reasons to join up for PS Plus Essential, although people who have PS Plus Extra or Premium also get access to them. They can also play a selection of additional games, however, Sony has yet to release the PS Plus Extra and Premium games for January 2023, with the exception of one title.
WWE 2K22 was previously revealed to be included in the PS Plus Extra list on January 3. It’s unclear why WWE 2K22 has been included independently of the other PS Plus Extra games. Subscribers may be perplexed as to why just the PS4 version of WWE 2K22 is being added rather than the PS5 version, but they shouldn’t hold their breath waiting for an answer.
