Fortnite lovers, gather! The Mr Beast Fortnite tournament is going to be wild.
MrBeast joins the Fortnite Icon Series! On December 17, 2022, players that are eligible* can participate in Mr. Beast’s Extreme Survival Challenge and receive “Score” (as described further below). The participant who finished the challenge with the greatest Score will be crowned the winner, and they will get the one million dollar (USD) reward! Additionally, players can acquire a unique Umbrella for their Locker by accumulating enough Score.
How about using the MrBeast character in Fortnite? The MrBeast and MrBeast6000 Outfits will be sold in the Fortnite Item Shop starting on December 14! Even though some parents compare Fortnite to hard drugs we know that there are responsible kids out there!
The Mr Beast Fortnite tournament will be live on December 13
You’ll notice the MrBeast’s Extreme Survival Challenge island go live on December 13 at 9 AM ET. This island, created by the challenge’s creative team Atlas Creative, will serve as its host beginning December 17 at 12 PM ET. To get “Score” in this Mr. Beast-inspired experience, avoid obstacles, gather coins, and endure difficult difficulties. Before the game is over, score as many points as you can.
On December 17, from 12 p.m. ET to 3 p.m. ET, MrBeast’s Extreme Survival Challenge will be accessible in Discover’s “Fortnite Competitive” category. Throughout this time, you are free to play as many games as you choose. Your placing will be determined by the Score of your best match—the match in which you received the most points—after the Mr Beast Fortnite tournament is over. The player with the highest Score will receive US$1,000,000!
But to win, you don’t necessarily need to have the highest Score. The top 100,000 competitors (the 100,000 with the highest Score) will be awarded the golden Beast Brella Umbrella at the conclusion of the competition.
The island goes live on December 13, so you’ll have time to prepare before the Mr Beast Fortnite tournament kicks off on December 17! The island can be reached using both the Discover screen and the island code 7990-6907-8565.

What about survival quests?
When the island debuts, you’ll also notice that MrBeast’s Extreme Survival Quests do the same (9 AM ET on December 13). If you finish one of these quests, you’ll receive the MrBeast Gaming Spray, and if you finish the other quest, you’ll receive the MrBeast Survival Games Loading Screen. You will be tasked with completing both quests in order to reach a certain score in the MrBeast’s Extreme Survival Challenge island.
The deadline for these two quests is January 4, 2023 at 6:59 PM ET.
There are also special MrBeast6000 outfit and accessories
The MrBeast and MrBeast6000 Outfits will be offered in the Item Shop beginning on December 14 at 7 PM ET! Each Outfit will also have complementary accessories available.
The MrBeast Outfit has a hat-on alternative Style in addition to the hat-on default Style. Accessories that match with the outfit include:
- MrBeast Smasher Pickaxe: “This Can Break Through Most Buildings!”
- Beast Backdrop Wrap: “My Design’s On a Thunder Shotgun!”
The standard masked Style and a maskless variant Style are both included in the MrBeast6000 Outfit. Accessories that coordinate with the outfit include:
