What’s the connection between Elon Musk and AOC video, and who is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez?

Elon Musk, the most talked-about name of recent days, is on the agenda this time with a topic other than Twitter and Tesla.  Elon Musk and Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who frequently argue, appear to have put their differences aside in a parody video that was shared on Twitter on Wednesday.

The Ocasio-Cortez footage was obtained from a “60 Minutes” interview she did with Anderson Cooper on CBS in 2019 – just before the New York Democrat was sworn in after her unexpected election victory. The Musk video was also edited from an interview, but this time, the Tesla CEO conducted “60 Minutes” with journalist Leslie Stahl in December 2018.

Elon Musk and AOC video: “Crazy chemistry”

The 53-second clip that went viral was the combination of Musk’s interview with Leslie Stahl and Ocasio-Cortez’s interview with Anderson Cooper.

The tweet, which received more than 132,000 likes in just nine hours, said:

“Elon Musk and AOC finally worked out their differences.”

“The chemistry these two have is crazy.”

We find the Elon Musk and AOC video parodies quite entertaining. You can check the video below:

Who is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez?

AOC stands for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who is an American politician and activist. She is a Democrat who has represented New York’s 14th congressional district in the United States since 2019.

Ocasio-Cortez gained widespread attention on June 26, 2018, after she triumphed in the Democratic Party’s primary election for New York’s 14th congressional district. She won the 2018 midterm election primaries by defeating Democratic Caucus Chair Joe Crowley, a 10-term incumbent, in what was widely seen as the biggest upset.

The daughter of Sergio Ocasio-Roman and Blanca Ocasio-Cortez, Ocasio-Cortez was born on October 13, 1989, in the Bronx neighborhood of New York City. After graduating from college, Ocasio-Cortez returned to the Bronx and took a job as a waitress and bartender to support her mother, a school bus driver and house cleaner, as she battled the foreclosing of their home. Later, she established the now-defunct Brook Avenue Press, a publishing house for novels that portrayed the Bronx favorably. She also worked for the non-profit National Hispanic Institute.

Who is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez husband?

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez just got engaged to a new fiancé, Riley Roberts. Riley and AOC had been friends since they were in college. According to the New York Post, the two met at Boston University, where Riley was majoring in sociology and finance. The two actually got into a debate during a weekly student town hall called Coffee and Conversations, and ultimately, more romantic embers started to flare.

Why do Elon Musk and AOC video parodies exist?

Elon Musk and AOC video has been shaking Twitter for the last 24 hours. Let’s look at the background between the two to understand the irony in it.

Ocasio-Cortez, a democratic socialist, has denounced the buildup of enormous personal wealth, declaring in 2020 that:

“No one ever makes a billion dollars, you take a billion dollars.”

Our calculations show that Musk is worth $200.7 billion, which is $43 billion more than the next richest individual. Musk describes himself as a political independent, although he has been more and more associated with the right, saying in August that he backs:

“the left half of the Republican Party and the right half of the Democratic Party!”

Elon Musk

Right after Elon Musk’s announcement that he intended to purchase Twitter for $44 billion, she tweeted:

“Tired of having to collectively stress about what explosion of hate crimes is happening because some billionaire with an ego problem unilaterally controls a massive communication platform and skews it because Tucker Carlson or Peter Thiel took him to dinner and made him feel special.”

With a blushing emoji Elon responded:

“Stop hitting on me, I’m really shy.”

Ocasio-Cortez tweeted and later removed the response:

“I was talking about Zuckerberg but ok.”

Later that tweet this conversation between the two happened and a Twitter user decided to make Elon Musk and AOC video:
