Like you, everyone is wondering about the hardest Doom Eternal enemies and how to kill them. The first-person shooter game Doom Eternal was created by id Software and released by Bethesda Softworks and got a huge success. One of the reasons for the success is Doom Eternal’s enemies.

You’ll need the quick thinking of a dart player at the last call and the aggression of a crocodile in a kitten nursery to get past the first 10 minutes if you set the difficulty to anything higher than Hurt Me Plenty. Or, you can just read our guide.

These are the Hardest Doom Eternal enemies:

  • Arachnotron
  • Revenant
  • Cacodemon
  • Mancubus
  • Whiplash
  • Carcass
  • Pinky
  • Prowler

Check out before taking a closer look at how to kill them.

Arachnotron

You can’t say Satan is unimaginative, but the trouble with this cheery little guy is that it can kill you both from a distance with its brain-mounted turret and up close with metal claws that are the ideal size for a quick evisceration. Oh, and it moves quite quickly, so the Arachnotron you just spotted 200 meters away is now on top of you.

Arachnotron

The Codex advises you simply hit the enemy’s turret, but we say good luck and pip-pip because the turret is small, the Arachnotron is swift, and you’ll generally have other things to worry about when one is present.

Arachnotron will be everywhere, so focus on eliminating it before tackling less dangerous foes. Arachnotron is one of the hardest Doom Eternal enemies.

Revenant

The Revenant is complete. It is more dangerous up close than a baby having a temper tantrum and has two cool rocket launchers mounted on its shoulders. As if that weren’t deadly enough, it can also fly.

Hit it with an Ice Bomb, while those who value accuracy may choose to destroy the Revenant’s preferred rocket launchers if you have the foresight and time to achieve that.

Cacodemon

The main reason we added them is that killing them is wonderful. Throw in a grenade or a sticky bomb, and then watch for the funny YULP sound they make as they swallow it.  They’re not particularly quick, but the fact that they can be killed is amazing. They will stagger a short while later, at which point you can kill them for glory by removing their eyeball.

Arachnotron is one of the most loved Doom Eternal enemies.

Mancubus

The Mancubus’ main characteristic is its ability to injure you from essentially anywhere, thanks to a set of handy rocket launchers/flamethrowers attached to its arms. Because of its size, it can withstand a lot of damage before giving up, even if it isn’t the fastest.

Mancubus

The Mancubus’ rocket launchers are large enough to practically be targeted, in contrast to the Arachnotron’s tiny weak spot. If you attack them, you’re left with an enraged two-ton beast with rocket launchers for hands.

Whiplash

The Whiplash is a half-human, half-snake creature from a nightmare. Due to its sleek profile, it is particularly difficult to strike when it is standing up. Forget about it as it crawls across the ground; it moves too quickly and is too small.

Once you’ve recovered from your first encounter, our recommended course of action is never to stop moving and, preferably, hit them with an ice bomb.

Carcass

The plasma rifle should attack the energy shield because it will cause splash damage to anything nearby if it explodes. There isn’t much more satisfying in the Doom Eternal universe than watching one of these suckers spin itself into oblivion, so if you can, follow it up with a Glory Kill.
