Be mindful of the following things as you attempt to complete this challenge:
- The M13B rifle belongs to the first squad member to arrive and defeat the Chemist.
- The radiation zone eventually damages players without a gas mask.
- You’ll likely need a complete team of three to take on the Chemist.
- The M13B can only be used by the player who is holding it at the time of exfiltration.
The Chemist’s precise location is not indicated on the map, but his yellow hazmat outfit makes him easy to spot. Be ready for he is heavily armored and is supported by a horde of armored minions. Upon his death, his M13B is still available for pickup.
Fix: M13B not unlocking after extraction in MW2 DMZ

Where to find the Chemist in MW2 DMZ?
You can enter the game mode and start looking for The Chemist once you have completed the DMZ task required to unlock the M13B. You can see a yellow circular region with a purple toxic symbol emblem inside if you open up your map. You should go here if you want to locate The Chemist. The Chemist is placed in the “Radiation Area.”
