Sonic Frontiers tombstone puzzle: A Grave Mystery guide
This puzzle is a necessary task that is substantially more challenging than many of the later, seemingly easier trials, is one of the first puzzles that many players will come upon.
In order to solve the challenge, Sonic must control four laser-emitting stone pillars. He must get the lights to line up with a sort of outline created by a worn-out route on the ground. However, the fundamental problem is that when one pillar is moved, at least one other usually follows. Players must then switch between pillars to finish the puzzle by accurately matching the lights.
Sonic Frontiers offers a wide variety of riddles, and each Island contains a significant story puzzle that must be solved in order to advance the plot. You must solve the Mystery in the Graveyard in order to move on from the first island’s major problem.
We’ll explain how to complete Sonic Frontiers’ Mystery in the Graveyard Puzzle in this guide.
Solving the Mystery in the Graveyard
Players will encounter an objective called Mystery in the Graveyard, which is essentially the game’s first major puzzle, as they go through Kronos Island. In order to unravel the riddle, you’ll need to bounce the energy beam off the gravestones all the way to the end of the cemetery.
In order to accomplish this, you must first rotate the tombstones. Only four black tombstones can be rotated, and because some are connected to these four, turning one of them will cause other tombstones to revolve along with it. To bounce the energy beam, you must rotate them in a specific direction.
Sonic Frontiers tombstone puzzle is a little challenging. Still, if you adhere to the following standards, you can quickly solve it: Choose the black gravestone on the left and turn it to direct the beam to the tombstone above it as your initial action. To make the rays bounce off one another, pick the black tombstone on the right and turn it to face the tombstone on the left.
Then pick the top black tombstone and rotate it so that its beam meets the tombstone to its southwest. This will cause the rays to bounce along this path.
The line with the black tombstone on the left will unwind as you select the bottom black tombstone and spin it so that its beam connects with the tombstone to its southwest. To further link the lightning strikes along its course, turn the black tombstone to the left one more time. The journey will be finished once you turn the black tombstone to the right and link the rays here.
The finished piece should show the full beaten route, as shown in the screenshot above. Given that it necessitates returning to several stone pillars and temporarily losing progress, A Grave Mystery is probably one of Sonic Frontiers’ more difficult puzzles. However, if you follow my instructions, you ought to be able to pass this test and advance to the following boss battle.
When you finish the Sonic Frontiers tombstone puzzle, you’ll see a statue over the waterfall, and Amy will inform you that the next Titan may be found higher up the mountain.
