One covert flag
After Halo Infinite co-op campaign if you want to play some competitive games, you can try this mode. Go to the multiplayer menu and pick Joint Ops to play Covert One Flag. One side is tasked with seizing a flag while the other team is charged with defending it in Covert One Flag (Joint Ops). If the attackers grab the flag once, they win the round; if the defenders hold them off, they win the round, and the game is won by whoever achieves three points first. The catch is that the defenders will always start equipped with an Energy Sword, VK78 Commando, and Threat Sensor. The attackers, on the other side, will always spawn with a Pulse Carbine, MK50 Sidekick, and Active Camo, making each game an unique asymmetrical approach in which each team must operate within severe, but crucially distinct, limits.
New multiplayer maps
In addition to a new multiplayer mode, players can also load into two new maps. Listed below are the new maps added as part of the Winter Update:
- Detachment
- Argyle
Both new maps can be played in any multiplayer playlists except for Big Team Battle.
