How to create a kingdom in Bannerlord?
This guide will mostly focus on establishing a kingdom in the game’s sandbox mode. There is a quest line in the ordinary single-player edition that focuses on gathering parts of a dragon banner, which will result in the player creating their own kingdom. That is a really clear statement. The player will have more flexibility in sandbox mode. Making a kingdom is a little more difficult. To construct your own kingdom in Bannerlord, you must fulfill certain requirements:
- Reach Clan level 4
- Hold their own fief
- Have at least 1 companion
Creating a kingdom is simple once you’ve accomplished the three stages above. If you already have all of the aforementioned criteria, you can go to the section of the page that explains how to create a kingdom through discussion. To begin with, seizing a fief will be a difficult endeavor, especially if you are on your own. You’ll need to either gather a large army or wait till another clan has just taken over a castle. This is due to the fact that they will be poorly protected, to begin with.
Another frequent way to obtain your first fief is to join an existing kingdom and then quit the kingdom after receiving a castle for your services. Members of that group will resent you for doing so, but it is likely the quickest method to get a castle or town in Bannerlord. When you have your own fief and are not a member of any kingdom, you can begin to build your own kingdom. You may build your own kingdom now that you have your own fief and region at clan level 4! You should do this by going to your own fief. Once there, choose the option Manage Town. (If this is a castle fief, this will be Manage Castle.)
On this screen, there is a box in the upper right corner that says Governor. When you click this box, you must choose one of your pals to be the governor of this town. You also have the option of selecting two random NPCs who are just town nobility. Whoever you pick will stay governor of the town and will be unable to fight in your party unless you remove them and replace them with another NPC. You may begin the discourse to form a kingdom after you have an NPC as a governor.
Creating a kingdom through governor dialogue
First, travel to any fief you possess that has a governor stationed there. To establish a kingdom, you must first speak with your governor. Visit the town to accomplish this. When you enter the Keep, you will see the governor’s image at the top of the screen, along with any other NPCs that are presently there. Select the option Talk by left-clicking on this picture. You will initiate contact with your governor.
You must next choose the option that says “It is time to take a momentous step….” Following this conversation, you will be able to finally construct your own kingdom and hire any vassals you choose. You will be king without having to fight for it; you will be king by default. To maintain a strong kingdom, you must persuade lords to join your country and battle with you.
