Today, we are going to be covering Lost Judgment squirrel locations and how to get to them, so you can gain their rewards and earn the trophy Bad Fur Day.
In Lost Judgment, Graffiti showing squirrels doing things linked to your detective equipment may be seen in both Kamurocho and Ijincho. You can investigate them in the early game to mark them on the map, but you won’t be able to interact with them until you finish a Side Case that explains how they operate. This Side Case is called “Squirrels Just Wanna Have Fun,” and it is located just in front of Seiryo High School by speaking with a girl who is staring at the squirrel on the wall.
Best Lost Judgment squirrel locations guide (2022)
This Side Case forces you to capture the first squirrel you see near the school. After finishing it, you may walk around the map and collect the goodies from the remaining squirrels. Multiple squirrels lead together in certain areas. None of the squirrels are missable; they may all be collected after the main tale in free roam. After you’ve located the other 55 squirrels, the last one will appear in a new Side Case. It is located in Fukutoku Park and is dubbed “Big Squirrels Don’t Cry.” Complete this Side Case to discover the final squirrel and obtain the Bad Fur Day trophy/achievement.
When you finish all of the School Stories, you will receive an item that will assist you in locating the squirrels when you are near them, similar to the QR code finder in the original game. This isn’t required to locate them, but you may follow the guide and find all of the squirrels before completing the School Stories.
Ijincho
Ijincho presently has 28 squirrel sites. They are listed by geographical region, in the same order as the taxi menu.
Seiryo High School
Lost Judgment squirrel locations #1: Picked up during the Side Case “Squirrels Just Wanna Have Fun,” which teaches you about Squirrels and makes the rest of them accessible for collecting. This Side Case is located just in front of Seiryo High School; speak with the girl who is staring at the squirrel on the wall.
Hamakita Park
Lost Judgment squirrel locations #2: South of Hama Wagon Cafe – On the corner of the building

Take out the Noise Amp and stroll around the rear of the building to discover the second squirrel, who is hiding on the wall between the windows. Pull out your drone and fly it up to the edge of the rooftop where there will be an item pickup (hard to see against the white roof) that will reward a Hug Bomb Beta.

Bring out your dog and follow it to the next tree to the west, where you’ll locate Extract Recipe: Savage Slam.

Take out your detector and study the flower container to the left to locate Extract Recipe: Lubrication Tactic.
Chinatown
Lost Judgment squirrel locations #5: Inside Hotel Grande Blu Morino (Large building East edge of map) – On a wall south side of the courtyard
- Reward: Motivator Shirt SSS
Take out the Noise Amp and turn around to investigate the tree in the courtyard for Motivator Shirt SSS.
Lost Judgment squirrel locations #6: East corner of Chinatown – On the ceiling of the pagoda
- Reward: Grip Booster
Take out your detector and examine the statue to the right to receive Grip Booster equipment.
East Jinnai Station
Lost Judgment squirrel locations #7: North of la chatte blanche – Lower walkway beside the road
- Reward: My Own Style record
To acquire the My Own Style record, take out your Detector and approach closer to the road, looking for the hole in the tree.
Lost Judgment squirrel locations #8: Carriage Hwy. Parking Lot Taxi Stop – On the wall directly behind the taxi
- Reward: Silver Plate
Call the dog, then follow it to the building’s gate to locate a Silver Plate.
Lost Judgment squirrel locations #9: Daikokuten St. North of Coming Boon – On some tiles at the end of the crosswalk
- Reward: Extract Recipe: Super Grip
Call your dog, then follow it across the street to Extract Recipe: Super Grip.
Lost Judgment squirrel locations #10: East Jinnai Station – North wall of the station outside
- Reward: Attack and Defense Booster 1 accessory
Turn around and look for the squirrel by the stairs on the building across the street. Then, take the Detector and examine the top right corner of the glass cabinet to the right of the stairway. Finally, summon the dog and direct it to guide you east in the parking lot to the Attack & Defense Booster 1 accessory.
North Jinnai Station
Lost Judgment squirrel locations #11: South of MIRAI Batting Center – Sitting on the ground right on the edge of the path, partially in the water

Bring out your dog and follow it south along the route until the end of the railing, where you’ll find a Bust Amulet.
Jinnai Station
Lost Judgment squirrel locations #12: W Bayside St. – On the wall directly north of Poppo (Jinnai Station Exterior)
- Reward: Extract Recipe: Tree Trunk Legs
Take out your Noise Amp, then gaze up on the right wall for squirrel number two. Then, using your Drone, fly it up to the right where the squirrel is pointing to collect the Extract Recipe: Tree Trunk Legs.

Use your Detector to move two pillars north and one west, then look at the top for a Gold Plate.

Take out your Noise Amp, then check the dinosaur’s tail for Skill Book: White Snake Analects.

To collect Camo Paint, take out the Detector and aim it towards the cushion on the sofa seat in the corner (Brown).

Call your dog, then let it lead you across the road along the trash-filled stairs to discover a Play Pass.

Take out your Detector and follow it west out of the alley, then south to the UMIGAME TEI sign above the blocked-off stairs. Then, grab your Drone and fly it down the stairs to get Elegant Paint.

- Reward: Skill Book: Flux Fissure Redux
Take out your Noise Amp, then turn right and look for Skill Book: Flux Fissure Redux in the far corner.
Koreatown
Lost Judgment squirrel locations #20: Poppo (Tsurukame Hwy.) – Inside the store to the right of the counter
- Reward: Floral Paint
Take out your Detector, then look for Floral Paint in the drink cans at the other area of the store.
Bar District
Lost Judgment squirrel locations #21: Survive Bar – Outside wall in the empty lot
- Reward: Miracle Darts
Turn around and examine the base of the tree right behind you for the Ribbon for Futaba, which she comes up to you and exchanges for Miracle Darts.
Lost Judgment squirrel locations #22: Bar District – South of taxi stop in the narrow alley
- Reward: Red Pyroxene
Take out your Noise Amp and pursue it farther into the alley. Pull out your Detector and follow it out of the alley, then check the leftmost clothing rack for a Red Pyroxene.
Lost Judgment squirrel locations #23: North of Ichiban Confections – West wall of parking lot area
- Reward: Dog Food
To discover the second squirrel, take out your Detector and look to the right up on the second-floor wall of the white building. Then, take out your drone and search the rooftop just underneath the second squirrel for Dog Food.
Commercial District
Lost Judgment squirrel locations #24: Yokohama 99 – Directly outside the entrance

Take out your Detector and follow it slightly south along the street to inspect the bush for any shoes to exchange to Futaba for a Nine Gates Tile.
Lost Judgment squirrel locations #25: Central Street – South of Yokohama 99 Entrance on the opposite side of the street
- Reward: Striped Paint
Use your Noise Amp to track squirrel number two down the street to the next power pole. Then pull out your Detector and go south to another power pole with squirrel number three. Finally, use your drone to fly up to the top of the light post to locate Striped Paint.

Bring out your Dog, then follow it towards the building’s covered section to locate the Skill Book Showa Duels: Water.
Lost Judgment squirrel locations #27: Onodera’s Wares – In the bathroom building opposite
- Reward: Rainbow Pyroxene
Take out your Noise Amp and follow it towards the homeless camp’s entry gate to discover squirrel 2. Then, take your Detector and follow it to the camp’s dead end, examine the pile of tires on the right for a Rainbox Pyroxene.
Lost Judgment squirrel locations #28: Sunrise Street – South of Ichiban Confections, top of the stairs by the river
- Reward: Skill Book: Book of the Slithering Snake Vol. 2.
Take out your Detector and follow it down the stairs until you reach squirrel number two on the wall. Then take out your Noise Amp and look to the right for squirrel number three on the bridge post. Finally, take out your drone and fly it up to the light post’s top to receive Skill Book: Book of the Slithering Snake Vol. 2.
Seiryo High School
Lost Judgment squirrel locations #29: Seiryo High School – Southern entrance leading to Kinka Bridge
- Reward: Skill Book: Book of the Ardent
Turn around from squirrel one to find squirrel two on the bridge pillar, then pull out your Noise Amp. You may then use your drone to fly out to the bridge pillar and retrieve Skill Book: Book of the Ardent from the bottom of the pillar.
Kamurocho
In Kamurocho, there are 26 squirrel spots. Because the map is not separated into areas like Ijincho, they are listed largely from north to south.

- Reward: EX Enhancement Belt
Take out your Noise Amp, then follow it through the tight gap to the back of the building, where you’ll discover an EX Enhancement Belt.

Take out your Detector, then track it slightly south and look up on the west wall of the building to see squirrel number two. Then take out your Drone and fly it beneath squirrel number two to locate Cute Paint.
Lost Judgment squirrel locations #32: Yoshida Batting Center – Inside on the south wall
- Reward: Bronze Plate
Take out your Detector and follow it along the corridor beside the batting cages. Look down to the right at the finish for a little squirrel two beside a garbage bin. Then, take out your Noise Amp and follow it out the rear of the Batting Center, where you’ll discover a Bronze Plate in the vent on the left wall.
Lost Judgment squirrel locations #33: Poppo (W Shichifuku St.) – East wall outside, to the right of the sign

Use your Noise Amp to detect squirrel two beneath the Hajime Tax & Consulting sign on the next building on the right. Then, using your Drone, fly to the top of the sign to acquire Training Innerwear.

Take out your Noise Amp, then turn to the left and gaze up to the top of the tree for a Platinum Plate.

Take out your Detector and follow it around the white sign to the right to discover squirrel number two. Then grab your Drone and fly it up to the corner of the enormous billboard to look for Camo Paint (Green).

Take out your Noise Amp, then look for Natural Paint on the table in the other corner of the room.

Use your Noise Amp to trace the path farther into the alley, then investigate the vent for a Blue Pyroxene.

Take out your Noise Amp and circle the area clockwise until you see squirrel 2 on the wall beside a white box. Take your Detector and head south down the center road. Turn right halfway down to peek at a stairway with squirrel number three. Now call your dog, and follow it south to the corner of the shops to find Battle Innerwear SS.

Take out your Noise Amp, then look for Camo Paint under the white CLUB SEGA sign (Blue).
