CD Projekt releases Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty teaser after announcing new DLC. The only significant information in the trailer is that your protagonist, V, is swearing loyalty to the New United States of America. Johnny Silverhand makes a comeback as the voice in your head telling you not to pledge allegiance to the New United States because it is a “poor idea.” But how awful can it really be when you get to discover a strange area of the city and acquire great new weapons like a seriously badass electric whip?
Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty teaser
CD Projekt Red informed us earlier this year that new DLC wouldn’t be available until 2023. In the interim, a brand-new spinoff anime for Cyberpunk 2077 will make its Netflix debut on September 13th. A new tool called REDmod that intends to make modding Cyberpunk 2077 simpler is being released by CD Projekt Red in conjunction with the premiere of the Edgerunners television series. A next-gen-only DLC for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S or X, PC, and Stadia is called Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty.
CD Projekt ignores the old generation console users
With the teaser trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty, CD Projekt has also announced that it will not release the DLC for PS4 and XOne. This is a really important decision. Because after the release of Cyberpunk 2077 with a wealth of bugs, PS4 and XOne users waited for the game to be fixed for a long time. In fact, the game was removed from the PS Store for a while. At the point reached after about 2 years, CD Projekt ignores the old generation console users.
Cyberpunk 2077’s story
The original game offered an interesting starting point in terms of story. Although the process became more complex as it progressed, it lost some of its impressiveness.
The protagonist, V, is at the center of the story as he struggles with an unknown cybernetic implant that threatens to replace his personality and memories with those of a deceased celebrity that only V can perceive; the two must work together if there is any chance to separate the two and save V’s life.
The Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty teaser hasn’t detailed the expansion’s story yet, but it’s clear that we’ll be dealing with a case where V and Johnny Silverhand won’t agree.
As it is known, in Cyberpunk 2077, Johnny Silverhand appeared in V’s mind and questioned his decisions. This conflict in V’s brain determined his fate and the course of the story. Silverhand is an anarchist and oppositional character, while V is trying to save his own existence…
What will come with Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty?
The Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty teaser revealed that we’re going to areas of the city that have never been visited before. With the new DLC, it is clear that we will see more destruction. Working for the state, V can face enemies far more dangerous than ordinary gangs while performing this task. Also working for the government, V will have body updates that we haven’t seen before. Weapons and equipment are also among the content we think will come with the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty DLC.
New implants and weapons are exciting. Acquiring new abilities can make a big difference to gameplay. Cyberpunk 2077 offers very different gameplay options in its current form. You can finish the game in an action-packed way to the end, or in complete secrecy…
