We’ve prepared a V Rising boss locations guide so you can easily find every boss in the game! A boss map can be quite helpful in this aspect because there are countless monsters in the game and it’s easy to get lost.
Using the Blood Altar in their Castle, players can locate the bosses in V Rising, although it’s not very accurate; it only provides a general indication of direction without consideration of the trail or distance. A good map is always better, so we’ve made one that shows you where to find each of V Rising’s 37 bosses as well as the rewards you’ll receive for defeating them.
Don’t forget to check out our list showing all V Rising console commands and learn how to use them! This might be helpful to you when defeating bosses. Below you can find all V Rising boss locations.
V Rising boss locations
There are numerous V Rising monsters, or V Blood Carriers as the game refers to them, as you can see in the image below (provided by Stunlock Studios). We’ve really made a distinction here since there are a few strong opponents—minibosses, for example—who don’t offer especially significant rewards.
We’ve chosen to exclude them for the sake of clarity. On the V Rising map, all of the Blood Carrier bosses are marked and are numbered in order of increasing difficulty. For all the information you need on where to find them and what they drop, compare the numbers with the table below.

The putrid rat should also be mentioned. The player must effectively “summon” (also known as spawn) this boss by completing a riddle at any position in the game world, therefore it doesn’t have a set location.
How to beat bosses in V Rising?
Our V Rising boss locations continues with some important tips. The aforementioned Blood Altar is crucial to defeating bosses. A gothic mission choose panel that lets you choose a target and then get a general idea of where they are can be built in your Castle early in the game. Additionally, it provides you with some information about them, such as some of the rewards they drop and what to anticipate.
Every boss has unique attack patterns and talents that are typically fitting to their appearance, although the general advice given here is applicable regardless of whatever member of your rogues’ gallery you are facing.
- Scout the location. Bosses will contain traps and strategies that you might not be ready for, especially in the middle to late game. Some people even battle on holy ground, which constantly inflicts damage on you in the absence of special potions. Before you dive in headfirst, be aware of what you’re getting into!
- Make sure you have the right tools. We’ve put prepared tips on the best V Rising armor and weaponry, but you should also take some time to choose from your available skills, gather supplies, and make sure you’re well-stocked on blood.
- It’s possible to stumble into a boss battle and be quickly taken by surprise by the sunlight. Consider taking a break and returning later in the evening if it is getting close to midnight.
- Use your talents. Early players might not be accustomed to all the skills they begin to learn, but given their swift cooldowns, make sure to use them all! Having all these superpowers is pointless if they are going to be useless.
- You should play for distance and safety, concentrating on evading opposing strikes and dealing damage when it’s safe, unless you’re highly overleveled. Make sure you play cautiously to compensate for the fact that most bosses can really harm you if they land a few strikes.
- You need to deal with these minions quickly because many bosses summon them to support them. Even though they are not particularly strong on their own, eliminating them early will prevent them from banding together to form a huge horde.
