The Sharpshooter is the resident archer class in Lost Ark, carrying a mechanically modified compound bow to attack adversaries at a distance. Sharpshooter makes up for his lack of AoEs with exceptional mobility and potent utility talents that will let him down monsters quickly, both solo and in a group. This guide will help you get started if you want to join the Sharpshooter class.
Best Lost Ark Sharpshooter build
An Identity Gauge is used to specify the classes in Lost Ark. Sharpshooter, on the other hand, is relatively distinctive in that it has an Identity Gauge and a Skill that gives additional passive assistance. The Hawk Meter is his identity gauge, and it fills up as you strike foes. When it is full, the Sharpshooter can call a mechanical hawk companion with Summon Silverhawk. Your Silverhawk will attack foes passively for the time, offering you with some extra damage as well as a party-wide movement speed bonus.
The Silverhawk also has two abilities that you may use when it is out. Wings of Storm provides a fast burst of damage and has a low cooldown, allowing it to be utilized numerous times each summon. Last Rush, on the other hand, causes substantially more damage but immediately stops the summon. So, call your Silverhawk for extra damage, then use Last Rush right before it expires.
Leveling and skills
While the Sharpshooter doesn’t have the finest AoE in Lost Ark, he has enough to get through the main plot with ease. He also has a great single target burst for monsters. Kite foes into clusters before rapidly eliminating them with abilities such as Charged Shot or Claymore Mine. Because skill point totals are normalized in Arena PvP, you will be able to max out the majority of your talents right immediately. Set up the setup above using those principles. Sharpshooter excels in engagement control, outmaneuvering opponents with mobility and stealth before rapidly bursting them down. His long range also lets him to target melee players without getting ensnared in their AoEs. Our build makes use of all of these advantages to help you dominate PvP.
Engravings
Engravings are an endgame customization choice that adds tremendous boosts to your character. You’ll start seeing them around level 30, but you won’t be able to use them until beyond level 50. Any class can employ multiple generic Engravings, but each class also contains two class-specific Engravings. Sharpshooter’s Engravings are as follows:
- When you trigger Last Rush, Death Strike refunds 50% of your remaining Hawk Meter. Last Rush causes enemies to take more damage for 8 seconds.
- Loyal Companion improves your Silverhawk to the Silverhawk Mk-II, which offers an enhanced party movement speed bonus and increased basic attack damage. Wings of Storm does more damage and applies the Mark of Death debuff, which increases the target’s damage suffered. Increases Hawk Meter regeneration.
Class Engravings generate mutually incompatible, different playstyles for the majority of classes. Sharpshooter is unique in that his Engravings are supplemental rather than defining his playstyle. Sharpshooter can utilize both of his class Engravings at the same time, which is not a feasible choice for either class. This will greatly increase the strength of your Silverhawk and give incredibly beneficial damage increases to your whole party via the debuffs applied to the Silverhawk’s talents.
Your general Engravings are adaptable, but Sharpshooter players will probably utilize less of them, preferring to invest in both class Engravings. Nonetheless, there are several viable solutions. These suggestions will work particularly well with Sharpshooter’s kit.
- Hit Master boosts the damage of attacks without the Back Attack or Frontal Attack modifiers. This applies to the majority of your abilities.
- Raid Captain boosts attack damage in proportion to your movement speed. Raid Captain will deal a lot of damage with Silverhawk and Loyal Companion.
- Grudge and Cursed Doll are the two most powerful unconditional damage boosts available from Engravings. Grudge, on the other hand, enhances incoming damage while Cursed Doll decreases incoming healing. It is suggested that you only use them when you have reached Engraving level 3 when the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.
Now that your build is coming into shape, you might be looking for some content aside from the story and side missions. If that is the case, there are many great Adventure Islands scattered around Arkesia, and we’ve made many guides on them that you can follow, such as Snowpang Island, Asura Island, Outlaw Isle, and Lagoon Island. These guides will go over the location, how to get the Island Token, finding the Mokoko Seeds, and more.
Combat stats and accessories
In addition to Engravings, accessory items (necklaces, earrings, and rings) in Lost Ark provide Combat Stats. These sub-stats may have a significant impact on your character, therefore it is critical to seek out gear with the appropriate stats for your build. While leveling, sharpshooters should strive for Crit and Swiftness to increase damage through critical hits and decreased cooldowns.
You must alter your stats based on the class Engravings you have active after earning them. Stick to Crit and Swiftness if you’re simply utilizing Loyal Companion. If you’re utilizing Death Strike alone or in combination with Loyal Companion, add some Specialization to increase your Hawk Meter quicker.
Awakening skills
Awakening talents are your ultimate powers, earned after completing the Trixion questline after level 50. Awakening talents have long, multi-minute cooldowns yet are incredibly effective. There are two for each class, but you may only equip one at a time. Sharpshooters are as follows:
- Golden Eye releases a swarm of Golden Hawks that do damage around you. On cast, you enter stealth for seven seconds.
- Fenrir’s Messenger charges up, releasing a massive spirit wolf that marches forward, doing damage. As it goes through huge adversaries, this talent can hit them many times.
For the time being, Golden Eye is the meta pick in the majority of cases. The stealth mechanic is incredibly effective, allowing for safe relocation in both PvE and PvP gameplay. Furthermore, Fenrir’s Messenger must be charged while stationary, making it far more risky to cast. Fenrir’s Messenger will hit enough times against certain especially huge bosses to make its damage worthwhile, but you should use Golden Eye in almost all circumstances.
Conclusion
