Pokemon GO offers up many Pokemons for trainers to grab and evolve, so today we’re telling you all there is to know about Sewaddle evolution and more.

Sewaddle, a dual-type Pokemon with the insect and grass subtypes, was first seen in generation five with the Pokemon Black and White video games. It is the first evolution in its three-stage line, evolving into Swadloon when it reaches the necessary level and into Leavanny when it reaches a high level of friendship.

The Pokedex refers to Sewaddle as the “Sewing Pokemon,” which most likely refers to its overall appearance. This guide will highlight Sewaddle’s fighting prowess, its appearances in the anime, and other basic Sewaddle information.

About Sewaddle

Sewaddle made his debut as a generation five Pokemon in the Sewaddle and Burgh in Pinwheel Forest! episode of the anime’s Black and White season. Ash discovered and caught a Sewaddle in this episode, which later changed in the series. According to the Pokedex, Leavanny looks after its pre-evolutions and will dress Sewaddle in the outfits it created before Sewaddle hatched.

Appearance

The little green Pokemon known as Sewaddle looks like a caterpillar. Sewaddle’s body is primarily green, but its mouth is orange, its head is yellow and white, and its stubby legs are orange. Sewaddle is wearing a leaf-made cowl over his head, and you can see two sharp fangs protruding from his mouth. Sewaddle’s head is protected by two bulbous appendages on top of it. Sewaddle is a little Pokemon that stands only one foot, or 0.3 meters.

Behavior

Sewaddle is known to dress in the wild by chewing apart leaves. It creates a material resembling thread that can be used to bind the leaves together. Leavanny usually makes Sewaddle’s initial pair of clothing, but eventually, Sewaddle will manufacture both its own clothing and nest. Although Sewaddle prefers to consume berries, if food is in short enough, it has been observed devouring its own leafy clothing. Since Sewaddle creates its own clothing, Pokedex states that fashion designers have used Sewaddle as their logo.

Strengths and weaknesses

Sewaddle’s stat sheet does not offer anything particularly noteworthy for a base evolution Pokemon. Its defensive stats are its strongest, but it doesn’t have enough health to benefit from them. Sewaddle’s physical assault is greater than its special attack, but because of its weak speed stat, it struggles in offensive play.

Additionally, because Sewaddle is a dual-type bug and grass Pokemon, it is more vulnerable to flying and fire attacks than poison, rock, bug, and ice attacks. Although it lacks immunity, it can battle and withstand ground, water, grass, and electric-type attacks.

Best moveset

Sewaddle is a playable character in the Little Cup (LC) bracket of competitive play. Although it is not frequently used, it can be used to put up Sticky Web on the side of the field where your opponent is playing. A held Eviolite is typically employed with Sewaddle as a defensive Pokemon to give it extra bulk. Its skills are not that amazing, so you’ll probably end up using Chlorophyll for the added speed or an overcoat to shield it from the effects of the weather.

Run Hidden Power Fire/Hidden Power Rock, Sticky Web, Energy Ball, and Air Slash. Sticky Web is the most crucial move to take into account as it might slow down your opponent’s Pokemon. The additional steps are taken to guarantee that you get the broadest type of coverage possible.

How to catch Sewaddle in Pokemon GO?

In Pokemon Go, there are a few various methods you can use to find a Sewaddle. Compared to the developed forms in its evolution line, Sewaddle is significantly simpler to locate as a base evolution Pokemon. It grows more quickly in the wild next to farms, wooded regions, woods, parks, hiking routes, and other grassy areas.

However, none of the Pokemon in Sewaddle’s evolution line have been featured as raid bosses at Pokemon Gyms. Sewaddle can also hatch from 5 and 7-kilometer eggs. To get the Pokemon, you must either hatch a Sewaddle or stumble upon one in the wild. You need 25 candies to evolve Sewaddle into Swadloon, then another 100 candies to evolve Sewaddle into Leavanny.
