Capcom has never been afraid to re-release its vintage works, but in recent years, it has provided us with a plethora of retro compilations, the majority of which have been excellent works.
Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium: Everything we know
One of the best instances of this was Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium, a game that was released last year and featured 32 old coin-op classics from 1984 to 2001. It appears the collection was not comprehensive enough, as Capcom has since released a second batch of games, adding an additional 32 games to the mix.
We initially feel unsatisfied that Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium is even required. Only one free game and three DLC packs, each containing roughly ten extra games, were included when the original Arcade Stadium was published.
Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium departs from the idea that additional packs will be released in the future because it is a brand-new game that starts from scratch with one free game and offers the extra games as DLC. We much prefer that these 32 more games were made available as DLC for the original game, giving us a huge 64-game library. Users must switch between the two different pieces of software in order to access any game.
Nevertheless, we are happy with the selection of games provided, especially in light of the fact that the last compilation had already made a number of Capcom’s most well-known games available. The game will be available on Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox and PlayStation!
Does Capcom Arcade Stadium have online multiplayer?

You may play your old favorites in a brand-new style with Capcom Arcade Stadium!
There is something here for everyone, whether you’re new to arcades or a seasoned pro. Try playing locally with your friends in co-op or head-to-head matches, compare your times and scores on the leaderboards online, or just progress through each game at your own speed.

Which games does Capcom Arcade stadium have?
Happy retro gamers! The second offering of classic games from the Capcom collection is available on Switch with Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium. Similar to the previous game, which can be downloaded for free with the installation of only 1943: The Battle of Midway, the sequel includes a free copy of the sidescrolling shooter SonSon before allowing players to buy their favorite levels individually.
It only makes sense that we’ll soon learn the Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium release date for Switch, given that the first collection was both critically and commercially successful and that there have been ongoing requests from the gaming community to make older games more accessible.
Although we are unsure of the collection’s full scope, the first Capcom Arcade package included Ghosts ‘n Goblins, Strider, and Giga Wing, so we have to admit that our expectations for the upcoming release are rather high.
Unfortunately, it continues to appear that none of Capcom’s licensed titles, including Alien vs. Predator and Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, will be included in this edition due to legal concerns. Even so, we’re looking forward to hosting retro gaming nights with lots of variety and bringing the arcade to the living room.
Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium release date
This year’s Summer Games Fest saw the announcement that Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium would arrive on July 22. Players that pre-order or pick up an early edition can get access to Three Wonders, a trilogy of games in and of itself.
