The best 5G phones to buy in 2022

The evolution of phones has seen a massive change over the years. From phones with simple tasks like sending texts, receiving calls and playing your favourite Snake game on a Nokia 3310, smartphones have now become an extension of our lives. This does have its disadvantages, because smartphone users can never be totally disconnected from their work life and they can be accessible all the time, even when having a personal day. However, the advantages are many. Nowadays, you can shop online with your smartphone and save yourself a trip to the store. When travelling, there is also no longer a need to print your flight tickets, as you can simply carry the digital version on your smartphone. Gambling enthusiasts don’t even have to visit the slot machines physically anymore as they can easily access top  real money online casinos like FanDuel and Borgata on their smartphones. Safe to say, you can do virtually anything on your smartphone these days.

The next level of mobile communication is 5G, albeit it won’t completely replace 4G. Drones, self-driving cars, and the internet of things can all benefit from the faster network’s capabilities thanks to 5G. Although it has expanded quickly throughout the US, the UK, and the rest of the world, 5G coverage is still not yet accessible everywhere, so check to see if it will be in your region before spending money on a 5G-capable phone.

Don’t be scared to get a 5G phone even if you’re not in a 5G zone because a 5G phone will still function normally on a 4G network (albeit at slower speeds). It’s a good idea to prepare for the future; even if 5G isn’t available where you are right now, it’s possible that it will during the three years or so that you own your phone, so at least you’ll be prepared to benefit from it when it does.

Having said that, here at the best 5G phones to invest in if you’re looking to purchase a new smartphone.

Apple iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max

The best 5G phones to buy in 2022In September of last year, Apple revealed four 5G iPhones. The iPhone 13 series, which has a starting price of $729 and includes the A15 Bionic chipset and dual rear cameras, is at the front of the list. The iPhone 13 Mini is your best option for a 5G enabled phone if you’re searching for something smaller and less expensive. The iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max are outfitted with more capabilities if you’re looking for something more upscale.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

The best 5G phones to buy in 2022The Galaxy S22 Ultra is the best phone Samsung currently produces, featuring all the features you’d want in a premium flagship device. The device has a big, bright screen and an amazing rear camera arrangement (which includes a zoom lens unlike anything we’ve seen before). It is bursting at the seams with power. Although this Android phone isn’t cheap, if you want the greatest Android device money can buy, this is the 5G phone to choose.

Apple iPhone SE (2022)

The best 5G phones to buy in 2022Despite being Apple’s least expensive phone, the iPhone SE nevertheless has ultrafast 5G. While it doesn’t have the same photography capabilities as the much more expensive iPhone 13 Pro, it still runs the most recent version of iOS 15 and has the same chipset, making it a fantastic phone for regular use and light gaming. Read our review of the iPhone SE (2022).

Google Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 6

The best 5G phones to buy in 2022The Google Pixel 6 Pro offers so much value for less money than competitors at $899. It has innovative AI functions, a sharp display, a flagship camera configuration, and a standout design. If your budget is only $600, you can still purchase a high-end Pixel 6 with a large screen and flagship cameras.

OnePlus 10 Pro

The best 5G phones to buy in 2022In our evaluation, the OnePlus 10 Pro received a favourable rating for its sleek appearance, potent performance, and competitive pricing. The camera, which is good but not spectacular, must be improved, but generally, this flagship provides a fantastic experience. It’s a good alternative to consider if you’re looking for a high-end 5G phone that’s a little different from your friends’ iPhones and Galaxy phones.
