You can find the League of Legends Nilah release date, abilities, and role in this article. With a fast-paced kit and aggressive skins, Nilah appears to be continuing the recent trend of highly mobile champions. Regarding her LoL kit in the reveal trailer for Nilah, she’s sprinting across a body of water while pursuing a kraken below.
Following this, the emphasis shifts to gameplay, demonstrating how this theme is implemented. Various abilities that flash her forward towards and around foes were displayed, suggesting that she will be able to pursue wounded opponent champions with relentless determination.
A water demon empowers Nilah from the lore. It’s shown that her ability to run on water is due to this demon supporting her with his arms, and she interacts with it in-game. This power appears in Summoner’s Rift as a whip of watery force that allows her to deal ranged damage to foes.
Nilah’s reveal follows less than a month after the official announcement of Bel’Veth, and just nine days since Bel’Veth was introduced as a new League of Legends champion. If you wonder Bel Veth League of Legends abilities, go to the article.

Furthermore, Nilah’s abilities were exposed owing to Big Bad Bear on Twitter, and you may view them down below.
Passive – Iridiscent Inertia
Nilah’s attack speed scaling is poor (Nilah has a low of). It does, however, scale as you hit an opponent six times. On-hit damage is unaffected if Nilah gains more attack speed than the cap.
Q – Nacre Slash
Active: Nilah’s dash ability allows her to swiftly approach a target and enhance her next attack in the process. This empowerment allows Nilah to strike a target twice and form an arc-shaped assault that damages surrounding opponents. After a brief wait, all adjacent foes are marked, then damaged. The second hit’s damage number is determined by the amount of targets that have been identified.
Passive: When Nilah uses an ability, she gains bonus damage on her next three attacks. The third attack will deal double the damage and return 50% of Q’s cooldown.
W – Tide Bubble
Nilah can throw a water orb in any direction. When this water orb strikes a champion or terrain, it will detonate, damaging and incapacitating nearby opponents. This explosion also releases a cloud of steam that envelops all-terrain and the champions who have been hit.
The duration is ten seconds, but it will dissipate after four seconds once an allied champion steps into the boundaries. Auto attacks will be disabled within this mists.
E – Reluctant Friendship
Nilah lashes out with her whip and advances towards the target direction. Nilah is tethered to an enemy for four seconds after this whip strikes them. Beyond a distance of 1000 units, the whip will break.
Recast 1: Nilah can extend her whip and send it toward another target. This whip may hit another target or terrain, creating a new tether, and then resume its original trajectory. Nilah will be granted a second recast once this occurs.
Recast 2: If Nilah holds E, the tethered targets will be drawn together. The targets are stunned if they clash. When the targets strike, they damage and slow them down. If Nilah keeps E, she will be pulled towards the targets’ location.
R – Promise of the Ocean
Nilah creates a circular-shaped elastic arena that lasts seven seconds or until she is inside. Nilah will attack anyone who enters the arena, regardless of her distance. Enemies attempting to flee will be pushed into the area. The arena’s walls serve as terrain for Nilah’s W and E attacks, giving her greater mobility and immunity to collisions. Additionally, as long as she is within this zone, Nilah gains improved movement speed and ignores collisions.
League of Legends Nilah role
Nilah, the new League of Legends champion, is an ADC.
Riot’s goal for Nilah is to have her play the ADC position in the bot lane. It’s simple to see how her powers might work together with a variety of supports, and how she could fill the role.
Numerous other champions were created for a specific position but eventually found a home in another role. Expect Nilah to play mid in the short term.
