KOTOR PS5 remake is on the way. Another famous game developer has joined up with the upcoming PlayStation 5 remake of Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic (KOTOR) from Aspyr.
The famous BioWare Star Wars RPG has been remade for the PlayStation 5 as a console exclusive. Although we didn’t get much more than a stunning CG reveal, we learned that Aspyr, who previously created excellent mobile ports of the original KOTOR and its sequel, would be in charge of production.

As we wait for our first real look at the game in action, Embracer Group has confirmed that Saber Interactive has joined Aspyr in developing the remake.
Star Wars: KOTOR PS5 remake is coming
The official news was revealed during Aspyr’s parent firm’s Q4 financial report last month, when Matthew Karch, a board member, said it.

“Aspyr has gone full in to make this the best game that they can make. When [Embracer Group] acquired Aspyr, we knew from the start that they would require our assistance,” he explained.
“Saber has tremendous expertise in creating these types of products. We’ve done it on Halo – on multiple Halo products – so we’re been spending a lot of time working with them to bring this title over.”
Which remake projects has Saber Interactive developed?
Saber Interactive has a long history of remakes and ports for some of the most popular games from recent years. It’s worked on games like Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Crysis: Remastered, as well as the inexplicable ability to shrink down The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt onto the Nintendo Switch.
