Finally long-awaited Geforce Now M1 support is now here with an update. Nvidia has revamped its GeForce Now cloud gaming service to support natively on a number of Apple M1-powered computers.
The GeForce Now app can now be downloaded and used on Macbooks, Mac Minis and iMacs running on macOS versions that are 2.0.40 or higher, according to Nvidia.
“GFN Thursday also delivers an upgraded experience in the 2.0.40 update. M1-based MacBooks, iMacs and Mac Minis are now supported natively.”

Thanks to this update, Nvidia now provides “lower power consumption, faster app startup times and an overall elevated GeForce NOW experience on M1-based MacBooks, iMacs and Mac Minis.” This way game-enthusiasts will be able to “play for longer periods on battery power.”
Previously, Macs with Intel processors were required to be emulated using the Rosetta 2 compatibility layer in order for the GeForce Now app to operate.
Nvidia has also added 14 new game titles to the GeForce Now library, including major names such as Lost Ark and Dune: Spice Wars, in addition to the software update.
Lost Ark is now available in high quality through Nvidia Geforce Now for PC and Chromebook as well as Mac.
Only 24 hours after its release Lost Ark has become the second most played in Steam history. If you want to play this trending MMORPG you can check system requirements here. If you are already a fan of the game, check out our Lost Ark Super Express mission event guide.
