Below we will explain everything in detail about DFA Hand Cannon Destiny 2, perks, stats and how to get the Death From Above. Everything you need to know about the reworked version of the deadly weapon.
DFA Hand Cannon Destiny 2: How to get?
If you want the DFA Hand Cannon Destiny 2, you’ll have to complete Nightfall activities at any difficulty at the start of season 17. The weapon will be in rotation throughout the season and afterward.
Below you can find the drop rates sorted by difficulty level:
- Adept (1480 PL) – Rare
- Hero (1520 PL) – Uncommon
- Legend (1550 PL) – Common
- Master (1580 PL) – Common
If you’re looking to up your Nightfall loot game, here are some additional incentives: Exotic gear, Enhancement Prisms, and Ascendant Shards (Master only). It’s also worth noting that they’re farmable, so there’s no weekly limit on them.
There are also Grandmaster Nightfalls, which were released on April 5th, and are a more difficult version of the Master Nightfall activity. The Adept variant of DFA Hand Cannon Destiny 2 has improved stats and access to Adept modifications. It can be earned by completing this PvE objective.
DFA Hand Cannon best roll
At the moment, we have no idea what the D.F.A Hand Cannon perk pool will look like. Previously, the weapon had some intriguing characteristics such as Opening Shot and Rampage.
With Season of the Risen, Origin Traits ups the ante in terms of endgame content by adding two more variants to Nightfall weapons.
- Stunning Recovery – Stunning a Champion refills part of your magazine, activates health regeneration, and improves recovery for a short time.
- Vanguard’s Vindication – When you deal a final blow, you regain a little amount of health.
While the former provides more general benefits, Stunning Recovery is ideal for Champion-infested activities, especially since Hand Cannons are required to stun Unstoppable ones this season.

DFA Hand Cannon perks
For now we are not sure about the perks of the new DFA Hand Cannon. But the older version gives us some hints. Below you will find information about the old DFA Hand Cannon perks, so you can have a better understanding of the new one.
This weapon was a Nightfall-specific reward that was tied to the Tree of Probabilities Strike. The way to obtain the weapon was to start up the Nightfall strike when Tree of Probabilities was active, and repeat it until you receive the DFA Hand Cannon from the chest that appears after defeating the boss.
DFA Hand Cannon is appealing due to its low base stats and a few of the perks. The weapon’s rate of fire is quite quick, and when combined with its competitive impact rating, it becomes a fearsome weapon in Crucible.
- Adaptive Frame
- Arrowhead Brake/Polygonal Rifling/Extended Barrel
- Accurized Rounds/Drop Mag
- Opening Shot/Rampage
The Rampage perk makes it a deadly weapon to face, since each kill boosts the weapon’s damage output, allowing you to easily take down your opponents. Opening Shot, on the other hand, is nothing to sneeze at; with incredible accuracy on the first bullet out of the clip, it may just help you secure kills in PvP.
