On Thursday, the “first tweet NFT” was being unable to attract bidders, also called Jack Dorsey NFT, the collectible is only valued at $10,000, a year after it was purchased for $2.9 million.
First tweet NFT doesn’t worth millions afterall
The famous inaugural Twitter post written by co-founder Jack Dorsey appeared to be on the verge of an epic failure, in what might indicate a decline in interest for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) marketed by athletes, artists, celebrities and tech gurus.
At OpenSea, Jack Dorsey NFT has been on the market for more than a week. The highest bid was in cryptocurrency Ether, which currently trades at roughly $9,900.
What later become Jack Dorsey NFT, the first ever tweet sent on the platfrom said: “just setting up my twttr.”
Sina Estavi, an entrepreneur from the country of Malaysia, bought the message as an unauthenticated virtual object known as an NFT for $2.9 million early last year, but put it up for sale last week in the hopes of earning $48 million and giving a portion to charity.
I decided to sell this NFT ( the world's first ever tweet ) and donate 50% of the proceeds ( $25 million or more ) to the charity @GiveDirectly

Earlier this month, $2.9 million Jack Dorsey NFT auctioned, but the highest bid was $280, now its value seems to be increased, a little at least.
First-ever tweet is also known as Jack Dorsey NFT
Dorsey had originally sold the “first tweet NFT” in ETH. Virtual items with provable authenticity may be created using Blockchain technology, which is utilized in the creation of the tokens. Estavi led the way as one of the first businesses to enter the NFT market, and he’s currently CEO of blockchain platform Bridge Oracle.
A digital work by American artist Beeple sold for $69.3 million at a Christie’s sale is part of the NFT movement. We don’t know if the value of the first tweet NFT will change after Twitter board activates “poison pill” plan after Elon Musk’s $43M offer to buy Twitter.
