Thor: Love and Thunder hits theaters on July 8.
The trailer for Endgame sets to Guns N’ Roses’ Sweet Child O’ Mine, showing Thor getting back into form after his “Bro Thor” period in Endgame and hanging out with the Guardians of the Galaxy (and undermining Peter Quill’s leadership like a jerk). The ending with Jane Foster holding Mjolnir, which serves as the movie’s centerpiece, refers to Russell Crowe’s Zeus and suggests that she will take up Thor’s hammer.
The Batman has finally aired on HBO Max.

And female Thor
Last we saw of this Jane variation, she was in What If, where Portman played her and Thor was still falling in love. Asgard was yet standing, and Thanos had not yet destroyed the entire universe in a previous version of this story. It’s meant to be a continuation of Jane’s time as Thor and the only person able to wield Mjolnir, which is an interesting piece of lore to have her return in the movies. Given that Marvel is going all out on its multiverse at the moment, one of the major questions surrounding Love and Thunder is which universe she’s from and how it might affect her presence in the MCU.
