What is Fortle?
Wordle is a word-building game in which players must find a five-letter term every day by guessing the letters that are in the word. It also has a companion tool called WordleBot to improve your game. Inspired by this popular game that debuted in 2022, a website called Fortniteskin developed a spin-off version of the game in which a new five-letter word is revealed each day for gamers to solve.
How to play Fortle?
In Fortle, players have six opportunities each day to guess a five-letter phrase. There are six rows of five tiles that show the attempts. When a player guesses a word, the tiles will become various hues. If the letter is not present in the word, it will turn grey. If the tile turns orange, it indicates that the letter is correct and in the right location for the five-letter word. If the tile turns purple, this implies that the letter is in fact in the word but at a different location than where players have guessed.
Fortle may be played by following these steps:
- Go to Fortniteskin.
- On the top right of the website, select the “Fortle” tab.
- Guess your words every day and return once a day for a new puzzle.
Words like forts, spies, and stone are just a few examples. Words with five letters that are connected to or within Fortnite. Get creative! Once you’ve used a letter option, it will become greyed out so you know which ones you’ve already tried. Fortunately, if you guess a word that isn’t recognized, it won’t count as an attempt. If you don’t get it within those six attempts, you will be informed what the word is.
