Stranger Things Far Cry 6 is coming. The Far Cry series has teamed up with Danny Trejo and the Rambo film series, and now it’s about to connect with an external source for the last time. The Far Cry 6 Stranger Things crossover has finally received a release date: March 24th, when users will be able to enter Yara’s version of the Upside-Down. It will be available to all players for free like the previous operations.
The Stranger Things-inspired “Upside Down” from the season two premiere has been revealed to be a twisted version of Yara, inspired by the Upside-Down. The Yaran people have been vanishing in this “twisted version of Yara influenced by the Upside-Down.” Chorizo, the wheelchair-bound dachshund, has also been abducted, implying that not only humans are being kidnapped by monsters. In a similar fashion to the Netflix show, this infernal setting will also feature a secret bunker and abandoned lab. The teaser trailer Ubisoft released merely displays a tiny sampling of the environment with some important art, but it does clearly show what the game’s Demogorgons will look like.

Stranger Things Far Cry 6 is in the free weekend
Users will be able to obtain flamethrower and shotgun skins as a reward for completing the campaign. These are most likely to be free and accompanied by a premium bundle that will include additional content from the show. Danny Trejo and Rambo bundles were available for 1,500 Far Cry Credits, about $15, which included items from the series.
This is a cooperative mission that ties in with the free weekend for Far Cry 6. Anyone who owns an Xbox One X, Xbox One S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 or PC through the Epic Games Store or Ubisoft Store will be able to try the game for free from March 24 to March 27. When the player decides to buy the game after completing the trial, everything will be carried over. During and just after the test period, all platforms will have a large discount on the game.
The last mission in the Stranger Things saga is the last thing on Far Cry 6’s to-do list. On that schedule, it has gotten the three premium updates, as well as crossovers with other games. There may be some cosmetics down the road, but Ubisoft hasn’t said anything about future DLC for this open-world shooter.
