Elden Ring Jarburg guide
The journey of Jar-Bairn is intimately linked to that of Alexander, the pot boy discovered in Limgrave and Diallos. We’ll try to keep spoilers to a minimum, but if you don’t want to take the chance, now is the time to click away.
Here’s where to find the new Elden Ring Jar-Bairn NPC so you can start their questline.
Elden Ring Jar-Bairn location
Jar-Bairn may be found in Liurnia of the Lakes’ Jarburg. To get here, take a fast voyage to the Gate Town Bridge Site of Grace, which is southeast of Raya Lucaria Academy. Ride up the slope to the north then cross over to the cliff to the east, directly south of Carian Study Hall. Skirting around and avoiding the Tibia Mariner boss that may be found in this area can save you time. The following image should assist you in identifying where it is.
Look around the edge of the cliff for the stone slabs you can jump on. To go down to the area below, you’ll need to cross numerous of these. A Site of Grace should be visible on the ground near a home. A few of the leaps are rather difficult, and you’ll need to use Torrent at least once. Activate the Jarburg Site of Grace once you’ve lowered yourself safely to ground level.
Jar-Bairn may be found just to the north, behind a stone house. They’ll ask you if you’re going to be the new Potentate, and if you select “Yes,” the questline will begin. If you say “No,” you can always come back later.
To continue Jar-Bairn’s story, you must finish Diallos’ questline and face off with Juno Hoslow. After that, Diallos should leave Volcano Manor and appear in Jarburg. It is possible to reload the area by immediately traveling away and returning, then talking to Jar-Bairn again. Look for Diallos in one of the huts and talk to him.
Go talk to Jar-Bairn and Diallos until you obtain new dialogue. Then use the Site of Grace to spend at least one full night, and Jar-Bairn will move down the pathway. After yet another reload, look for Jar-Bairn at Diallos’s location and speak with them again.
How to get the Companion Jar talisman in Elden Ring?
You can finish Alexander’s questline by giving Jar-Bairn “Alexander’s Innards,” then reloading the area for the final time. As a prize, they will give you the Companion Jar talisman, which improves throwing pots’ potency. By following our Elden Ring Jarburg guide, you will have no difficulties obtaining this talisman.
