The first teaser for Disney Plus’ Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi series, which will feature Ewan McGregor’s return as the exiled Jedi, has been released.
Obi-Wan Kenobi will continue the tale of its namesake hero 10 years later, following the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, in which Obi-Wan took refuge on the desolation planet of Tatooine to avoid Imperial oppression and watch over Luke Skywalker.
Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi release date
May 25th is the date when Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi will be made available, which was revealed by the company back in February. Ewan McGregor will return to his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi after portraying him in the prequel trilogy between 1999 and 2005. The new cast members include Moses Ingram and Kumali Nanjiani, who will make their debut in the series.

Additionally, Hayden Christensen is returning as Darth Vader, aka Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan’s former apprentice, who was last seen being beaten and burned in lava by his former friend.
It appears that Obi-Wan’s time on Tatooine between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope will be anything but peaceful, as the series prepares to bring about the greatest Star Wars rematch.
