OnlyFans, a popular subscription service for adult media, will now allow real NFTs to be used as profile photos.
According to Reuters, the platform will only support Ethereum-based NFTs and will display an Ethereum symbol next to NFT profile images to indicate that they are genuine.

The popularity of subscription-based OnlyFans, launched in 2016, has exploded thanks to the ability of content producers to sell their work directly to subscribers. The transition is just one among a slew of recent social media company initiatives to provide NFT profile pictures, including Twitter.
On Thursday, YouTube wrote in a blog post that “blockchain and NFTs may help creators build more intimate connections with their followers.”
